Passtech, you guys are currently one of the finest European game studios in my opinion, I love curse of the dead gods and I hope ravenswatch keeps coming out with new ideas, you guys have a SOLID base with this game to build upon, it truly is one of the best co-op experiences I've had! French developers seem to understand video games quite well! :)
Finally more Ravenswatch! I love Roguelikes in general, but this one really took me for an insane 250 hours ride. Loved every minute of it. Keep up the good work guys ❤
This game is so great, and I was already addicted. I wasn't even aware of a road map. I play Ravenswatch while passing time between Helldivers 2 updates. HD2, Ravenswatch and MonHunWilds are gonna be my top 3 games of 2025.
my only suggestion is to add more variety in mob attacks! :D i know you just added cultist summoner but already from looking at it i can tell it will just "feel" similar to all the other mobs, stay away and dodge their dmg etc. Would be fun if there was more variety that actually effects how we play, since for all mobs the game plan is just dodge their hits/bullets and then deal damage, this new enemy is the same, something that changes that loop would be Great and much needed imo ! :D love the game and I routinely return to it with my friend to play every big content update ! :D (if you're seeing this, and you're interested, def buy the game with a friend and go have fun ^^)
Once again asking for Saci Pererê to be added as a new hero in the future... ~Also Ahab. The Mastodon version... after killing the Moby Dick and sicking for a new foe.
great game guys. amazing update lots of new content. There is an issue though. every time u pick from a refugee camp the game crushes. It has happened to me 3 times
Nice update, But I wish there could be some better variety in the Bosses, they are all the same red and red and red. Normally I would say the bosses are my favorite part of game like this but for this I like the actual stages way better than the boss fights.
@PasstechGames great thanks for the update and congrats for the game is really good. One last thing after new dlc switch version looks really bad in handheld mode, it's so blurry now and has really low resolution, previous version was perfect and looks awesome. Please fix that in the future, thanks again. Also have the game on xbox and love it 😍
It's the opposite. A roguelike is the main genre like hades, deadcells, Isaac and so on. RogueLITE instead share some elements of the genre like ravenswatch does. Just for the sake of clarity ;)
@GiordanoFanti ohhhh but hades has a progression mirror thing where you get permanent stats for your next run did curse of the dead gods have that I swear it did lol
@@GiordanoFanti Roguelikes most of the time have no progression between runs, while roguelites allow players to unlock new abilities, items, or character upgrades that carry over between runs, making future runs potentially easier. Play the game "Rogue" and you'll realize the difference. Anything that plays like a Roguelike and has permanent progression or upgrades, will fall into the "Roguelite" category. Anything that mainly plays like a Roguelike and does NOT have permanent progression or upgrades, will fall into the "Roguelike" category. Granted, games like Binding of Isaac and Ravenswatch are not pure Roguelikes (due to having a very small degree of "permanent" outcomes, be it new characters or unlocking abilities), but by definition of the genre, they're the closest games to "Roguelike" than Hades or Dead Cells.
Hey guys really love the game with 50 hrs playtime, I have a bug report for you which has started after the update… When I visit refugee camps, after the buff selection screen my game crashedr 2-3 times already so I’m not visiting them anymore because there is no saving our run mechanism as you know. Just to be precise I’m a PS5 player and I play solo 95% of the time, hope you deal with it with a hot fix.
They did that in this update. The bosses are the "same", each one of them have different variants that change up the whole boss fight. Not exactly the same as a completely different master nightmare but I think this will help a lot for replayability.
Have to be honest, this update has made the game significantly worse. The entire run is now predicated on whether the randomly generated map is kind to you. If it is, you are beyond OP. If it is not, the run is over before it starts. Might as well play roulette. Very close to uninstalling. Incredibly disappointing.
@@sonicxd8899 This is just not true for the best of the best. Slay the Spire, Dead Cells, even their own game Curse of the Dead Gods. You put hundreds of hours in to hone your skills so that you maximize your win rate against bad draws and in nonideal scenarios. On Ravenswatch, this means knowing how to scale your build up in a fast and efficient way without dying, how to path etc. With this update, now you can get runs where it's only shards on a terrible store, locked chest, straw quest etc. etc. Refugees are useless, at least on chapter 1. Feather point of interest is useless. The vision poi on chapter 1 green is basically +2 stars of fate. A lot of shards without a good store is ok if you have gotten a great talent to upgrade early on. If not, enjoy being rich and dead. So many (almost) useless but "interesting" camps are added and chests are subtracted. Or the key for the skull boss locked behind a blood ritual in a red area you might well not have time to get to. The game has gotten quite a bit harder to play in a thoughtful manner that looks to maximize win rates, at least on Nightmare and above. The co-op scaling on nightmare was already nonsensical and nightmare solo did not need to be made harder. If you are good enough to win anyway like a @positive4ce , all the power to you. This has made the game "more interesting" to you and you don't have to play 5-modifier runs not to fall asleep. For the rest of us, those that find darkness meh but have to work hard to succeed on nightmare, these are terrible changes. Not all "bro"s play rogue-lites/-likes for chaos and complete unpredictability, some of us actually play for the mental, problem-solving part of it. And nonsensical randomness does not make the game more appealing or interesting to us. I think both type of gamer can be respected, which this update certainly doesn't.
The new stuff is really good (though I think the refugee choices could be better balanced). However, two minor things would have made it significantly better: first, eliminate the feather shrine (make feathers a shop purchase every chapter) and eliminate the other tumor. By doing just those two things, every map could include two vision towers and a wishing well every time. These POIs allow for much better planned pathing, so that the player can make reasonable choices instead of depending on RNG. A good roguelike punishes bad choices and rewards good ones. With the updates yesterday, good choices don't matter as much as "did you get lucky with a good map," and that is what i find disappointing.
Looks great, but as always the lack of metaprogression and goals lower my desire to play a lot. I'll probably do a few games (see if the multiplayer is still kinda dead) and move on again.

Hell yes!
My favorite part of the update was when the nightmares said "it's unleashin' time" and unleashed all over the place
No new toon?
great game guys. amazing update lots of new content. There is an issue though. every time u pick from a refugee camp the game crushes. It has happened to me 3 times
Hello, it's a known issue! A Hotfix is in the works.
Y'all cooking
Yeaaah
Currently my favorite game. But fix the damn crashing

Please fix the co op issues on Xbox. Thank you.
Do we have in-game chat now?
Hell no. Pointless and waste of resources.
no new characters?
Not yet, there will be 2 free ones (that sorta act as one character) later this year
That's for our next update :)
Local co-op when?

Please, start to randomize final bosses on every stage to upgrade game replayability.
