The goblin has the fastest ttk potential but if you miss 1 bullet then it becomes the worst ttk of all ars. The gun is ok but every other ar is better because of consistency
If you can keep up with the firing cap, the Goblin with the CHF and Rapid fire is a funny SMG with a crap-ton more range than standard SMGs, although you need good luck nailing targets past SMG range. I'ts hilarious to use!
Playing KBM I'm really liking this gun. Normally I don't do well with semi autos because they don't have a high enough fire rate for me but this hits a sweet spot for my ability to click on a dude real fast
I generally stink with semi auto guns, but found myself consistently putting up 2KD with this gun by the time I was around 40 headshots (as an idea how long it took to get used to for me) with it outta the 100. I just think most maps are too small to play with a semi auto gun in this game. It's hard to both aim well and get close to the trigger cap when you're 10 feet from your opponent.
I find myself getting outgunned lots by the AMES while using the Goblin. Strangely the low recoil automatic has more range than the semi auto rifle. Doesn't make this a bad gun by any means, but it's confusing why they made this choice. If the Goblin became too OP, they could've slowed the fire rate or balanced the range out more.
A lot more user friendly then shiva tho, shiva was a very slow and clunky gun while goblin has lightning fast handlings and a fire rate cap roughly equal to the average players trigger finger speed, shiva fired considerably slower than you can tap the trigger which made the feel of the gun not great goblin on the other hand is comfortable and satisfying to use
One change i would have done for the headshotter build is put the Acog optic on instead of the Kepler. The Acog sight says that it is a 4x magnification but when you compare it to the Acog/Rds combo you can tell that the normal acog has roughly a 2x magnification.
I ran this for the first time yesterday to complete the Semi-Auto Eliminations mission and this thing RIPS. Reminded me of using the old carbine in Day of Defeat.
Theoretically yes but it requires a consistent trigger finger which is hard to do for hours at a time and i feel like the rate of fire is so slow that its hard to match you always hit the next trigger pull too early which makes you have to do it twice over gunfights feel awkward when exchanging bullets with an enemy that is hitting you you are at a big disadvantage with this gun
Yeah it’s annoying. Idk if it’s my movement settings but every time I try to strafe left or right there’s a HUGE delay. Especially close range. Took me forever to gold in core.
So how do I interpret the little headshot icon @ 1:02? Does this mean 2 shots to the head is a 130 ms ttk or does it mean its 2 shot kill wjth minimum of 1 shot to the head? I dont understand
That reflects the number of headshots required mixed in with body shots to reduce the number of shots to kill. I see now that I didn't make that super clear in that particular graphic

@XclusiveAce Have you noticed that there is a visual bug with the Goblin Mk2 where your first headshot hitmarker will give you the illusion that you fired a two round burst?. It’s not based on the fn fal, it’s an Aussie prototype based on the l1a1, also it’s called the RMC 2
