- Many songs from the Tamil Films have been ignored periodically for reasons best known to no one. Especially, never or rarely attempted in any reality shows, stage shows or competitions. When the nation is on a Quarantine, Subhasree Thanikachalam launches this new series.This series will feature a set of some classic songs that are rarely heard, rarely performed, mainly between the period 1945 - 1992, and she will also try and give some trivia for the songs.The songs will all be performed by young singers who came out of her shows, which mainly focused on old songs. Re programmed and arranged by musicians.

I was actually present in recording theater when this song was recorded with a contact of my father... was studying...I still remember how joyful whole team was and raja sir was calling Vijay,sada, flute, rhythms for playing their part of tunes..and they were all freaking out..it was electrifying...everybody left elated after song was completed.. unfortunately film bombed in the box office..

Listened to the song using headphones. How blessed we are to be born in this generation, in which the genius Raja sir has a song for all emotions. Some emotions can't be expressed like this. Went back to my school days. Kudos to your team
The qfr team as usual amazes but I am in even more awe of Raaja sir - he belongs to another celestial world. Took all these gems as a birth right but what efforts must have gone in recording these in a few hours? 🙏
Dear Madam, how much of the soul is stirred just by listening to this simplistic tribal number, ofcourse the work behind the curtains, must have taken much creativity, time and effort. I love all the musicians work, the tribal beats are my favourite, and the pretty singer projecting emotions of innocence with her sweet voice did make my day. Thank you so much for sharing. Love it.

In 70s and 80s Raja composed many songs in Mohanam. All are gems.
Oh my god. This is one of my all time fav of Ilayaraaja. Unfortunately, a good recording of that song is not available. Thanks a lot for recreating this amazing song. If you notice all Ilayaraaja songs that had santoor (early years) were amazing songs. Lack of santoor players later on made him use synths. The way the bass sustains @6:58 always got me. How a man sitting in a 20x10 room with a harmonium for 320+ days a year for 12 hours can come up with such wild imagination is beyond me.

Ilayaraja Sir and Jency madam combo songs are superduper hits. This is one of their best and really amazed by perfect reproduction by Ms.Sinduri Vishal. Heard atleast 25 times before writing this comment as i couldnt find any blemish by singer. Cant digest one can sing as perfect as Jency madam as i am her ardent fan and FANATIC of Isaignani . Wish Raja sir hear this and give her deserved break in his stage shows. Kudos to Singer and team QFR.
