I make pots out of (used) plastic containers, too. It saves me money and is my preferred way to recycle plastic containers.

Right?! They're so much more affordable, and while being used as food containers or containers for other things, if it gets a leak or cracks, it can automatically be converted/repurposed into a pot with the help of a soldering iron or a candle and a big nail or metal rod to poke holes in the container! Some of these food containers are even better quality than some clear plastic pots sold for much more!
Thanks so much for watching and for subscribing! I really really appreciate it! It
's nice seeing you here after Orchid Ninja Nina's livestream! Have a great week ahead and take care! 🤗💚

Hello! Oh wow, thank you so so much for dropping by and subscribing! 💚🤗 Gonna tell Rick that There's a lot of people dropping by because of his help! Thank you so much!
And awww, this english version of this tutorial is actually lacking some tips compared to the tagalog/filipino version of this that I uploaded before this one! 😅 But i'll surely make more repot videos soon and i'll make sure to add more 💚
And yes! I do mostly lava rocks because here in the Philippines it can be super windy and the rain can be too heavy during rainy season, and i'm growing my orchids outside that's why I do mostly lava rocks so it can weigh down the pot! But pumice is really really good, it's lightweight and anti R-Word just kike lava rocks if you often water orchids! Lava rocks and pumice are a must have if you have a rainy environment or if you want to water frequently ! 😩💚

@@TheVerdantTurf thank you so much for your support! I hope you will enjoy my channel too. I wish I could grow my plants outside! :D I completely understand why you need something more heavy in your pots. I have been told that pumice is a type of lava rock. Its air dried and lava rock not. I love it. I use it in semi hydro and love the fact that you don't have to take it of the roots if you need to repot the plant. A BIG plus. :D

Congratulations for the 100 subs mark!!! I also am using lava rock aa well as river rock and pumice. Inert materials like these will never become too acidic hence avoiding having to repot so frequently and with no problems with watering.

Hello Fernanda! Thanks so much! Just saw it right now and wow, my channel really took a turn this June! So happy~ Thank you so so much for all your support! Having people like you in this community is really nice.
And yes, I didn't regret trying Lava Rocks and Pumice! They're literally super good for climates where rain is heavy~ no rotting/degrading media! 💚💚

Thank you so much, Julie! It's the 2nd time I reposted this English version because I lost the initial bgm, so I used another one and when it was uploded it has copyright stuff and I had to take it down and find another background music. But good thing I found the initial one, I reuplodednit with the original bgm and all went well!
Thank you so much for dropping by, Julie! Have a great day/night ahead! 🥳💚

and in regards with the pots, yes I love them too! Aside from being reusable containers, the ones wit cracks automatically becomes a pot! 🤗 They're a lot cheaper than buying Clear pots with the same quality too!
