See what Egyptologists have to say about JS's "translation". Let's see the curiousity on full display. You can talk about the surviving source documents that HE DID TRANSLATE. That would be fun 👍

I read NMKMH a couple of years ago and saw right through it. Comments like "no new sermon on the mount" (Really? Could anything possibly match that?); and a rumor about Joseph walking on water, which the author quickly dismisses as baseless, but nonetheless symbolic (Of what?). The author used literary license freely to speculate on Joseph's character. The historical background is interesting and reasonably accurate, but this can be had from many other sources. Reading NMKMH strengthened my testimony of Joseph Smith as a prophet, but for some it could have the opposite effect, so I cannot recommend it.
I've never read "No Man Knows My History" but I'm familiar with some of it's content. Ed, one thing you left out about Fawn Brodie is that she was David O McKay's niece and a professor at USC.

Nibley’s response was more of a pamphlet than a book. It only took a few pages to thoroughly demolish Brodie’s work of fiction

Bushman’s book is sketch as well and is used by opponents of JS as well.
