  • The ring I’m most proud making of using the lost wax casting method. 🥲 I enjoyed making every piece in this new collection, but this Opal ring is by far my favorite. This ring is going to be available Friday at 5pm BST, it is a size 5.25 and is 9ct gold. 💕 This ring just feels special, I hope it sees many good days through many generations. 🙏🏻🫶🏼🥲

    You’re so talented!! I’ve been teaching myself for a couple years now as I save and buy more equipment but I’m still such a beginner. May I ask how you removed the opal since you put the wax prongs in wax down over the stone?
    I always thought you build the prongs up and out as to easily remove the stone.
    Again, your work is amazing and you’re such an inspiration. You make it look so easy! Wish you had a course on setting stones bc it’s such a tricky area for me.

      You’re so sweet, thank you! 🥹💜 I will try and make a more in depth video on stone setting as soon as I can! 💜 with the prongs, you absolutely can solder prongs on after, build it straight up or put it over the stone, it just depends on the look that you want. If you put the wax prongs over the stone, use an exacto knife to gently lift the wax from the stone and then gently push your stone out from the back of the rings. If you use a blue wax, it’s just bendy enough to not break the prong. Sometimes the prong will pop off, but just use your electric pen to stick it back on ☺️💜 I hope this helps 🙏🏻☺️

    Wow its Stunning & so unique!! 🤯🫢 I think it would be even more beautiful in Sterling Silver though lol! 😂 Ive been a diehard sterling silver girl my whole life lol! 😂 Its kind of odd but something about my skin or the oils in my hands will completely tarnish gold within a day of wearing it but I Never take my sterling jewelry off lol. 😳 Seriously, Never.. lol some have been on for 15+ years and somehow they stays beautifully shiny and polished without ever cleaning them lol 🤷🏻‍♀️🤣 And Im one of them girls that loves my sterling so much that I wear a ring on almost every finger and even 2 on a couple fingers LMAO 🤣🤣 I tend to be more of a band wearer or rings that lay a bit flatter but this one is so beautiful id definitely wear it in Silver lol! 😍😍🫶🏻🫶🏻 You have an amazing skill & talent for this, im glad I found your channel!! 🫶🏻🫶🏻

    As an October baby, I love both the opal AND the PINK tourmaline. It’s nostalgic of the jewelry I’d get as a kid before I could have opals 🥹 Best of both worlds!
    (JFYI: Superstition states it’s bad luck to wear an opal if you’re not born in October. Bad luck & illness.)
    I realllly want one 💕
    So do you commission each piece? Do you make a set of like 10, and they go to whoever buys them first?

      I have heard that it’s ok to let it sit out for a few days with no problems, as long as you try and hold in the moisture. I read that a lot of people will let it cure for the 2 hours, then put it in a ziplock bag until they’re ready to cast 💜

      "good" is relative to who is purchasing it. ❤️ I try to achieve a level of quality while also being as affordable as I can for most people which is why I offer 9ct. Although the higher carats are nicer to work with, not everyone can afford that so I continue to offer a range. 👌🏼

    • @en392
      @en392 Рік тому +2

      What rent is saying is the United States doesn’t recognize 9k gold as being gold. That’s why you don’t see in on our market’s. 9k,12k,16k I believe is not “recognized” here. What does that mean to a jeweler is making it themselves and sells it to a person who wants it? Nothing she’s not labeling as 10k and selling 9k so nothing wrong here. I don’t see a problem with it. I just hope you sell 9 through 22 so that you can grab all markets
