When Michael breaks on that first line, Alfie is instantly aware of him. They really do "listen" to one another. The best double act I've ever seen.
Was already tearing up at the way Alfie reacted at the beginning then Michael sang "We'll" pointedly at Alfie, now I can hardly see through the tears.Beautiful song sung by two beautiful people. Thank you!

The pure emotion and feeling in this gets me every time. I love how Alfie puts his arm round Michael when he breaks on that first line and the smile between them when Michael sings we’ll be safe, I love these 2, could listen to them all day both when they are being serious but also those funny moments- they have a amazing chemistry.

This is so glorious! Thank you, Linda for posting it. I watch it almost every day and each time I'm blown away by how beautiful their voices blend together. I can't help but wonder, though, what made Michael's voice break like that at the beginning of the song. He seemed truly upset. Alfie's response was lovely. True friends.
Michael just got overwhelmed with the whole situation, it was the last emotional song (before the Wham Medley) of the Arena tour... ❤ I love how Alfie responds to Michael as well ❤

Michael sang this song last week on his channel 5 tour of Wales with a choir from Wales that included a doctor whose husband had died from civic 19 he was 34 they sang it in Welsh very touching end to the program 😭😭

wish you two were sensitive enough come to town that needs your presence. the concert tonight Angie's little Idaho Springs Colorado town leave me Breathless when people were about to be swept off their feet by the strong presence of God and it was not a gospel concert that tells me that God really loves us
