If you are ever lucky enough to see Michael Ball in concert...GO!!! He is an unbelievable performer! I have seen him sing this and it reaches your SOUL! He puts EVERYTHING into it and it just emotionally drains to watch him. I have been a huge fan since the very first time I saw him is Les Miz.
Alfie once said that Michael is a great actor and that no one can put the emotion in songs like he does. He couldn't be more right! I was blown away when I first heard this on his album, but seeing him sing it...OMG! Love him so much! ❤️

I know the show is more ”rock”, but liked his version for the same reason I like Michael’s - the more shrill notes aren't in my wheelhouse. I completely understand the musicality of it but like chocolate and vanilla, we all taste and hear differently. Thank you so much for taking the time to let me know what I was missing.
