20/26 today and once again a good quality and varied set of questions. Out of all the other quizzes on YT I participate in you're definitely the best Dale. 😮
Annick and Gert from Belgium only scored 12/26, some we had to say 'oh damn' afterwards, some were a bit too difficult for us, but we enjoyed it anyways. Have a happy New Year and keep on making quizzes so we can keep playing, lol.
I got 17 correct on this one. I got all three of the anatomy questions correct. I also knew the great pyramid question although tomb robbers stripped away any evidence of who really built the great pyramid although it's commonly accepted that it was built by khufu. Thanks for the earworm on the penultimate question. As for the bonus this week the answer is the 1950s. He passed away on April 18 1955. And I also knew the IKEA question having just read about how it got its name. The I and k is for his name and e a are the town where he lived.
Thank you so much for this Dale. I did well up to L - then it went to pot. Still, it was a lovely way to round off my birthday. Happy quizzing and Happy New Year.
On today's edition of my favorite quiz, I scored 24/26. I missed P, and T (I didn't even realize that New Zealand had a basketball team!) As a bonus, Einstein died the same year that I was born, so it was the 1950's. (1955 to be exact.) And, yes, I AM old! 😄 Thanks for the efforts, Dale. Hope that you and yours had a wonderful Christmas and hoping for a Happy New Year!
A nice easy bonus for you C.R. 😂 Great score 👏👏 and “T” is one of those answers that when you’ve heard it, you will always remember it 👍🏻. I had a lovely Christmas thank you and a Happy New Year to you 🥂
What a fantastic set of questions Dale! You come up with so many interesting facts that I am thoroughly entertained while learning. I have problems retrieving words so non-multiple choice quizzes are so much harder for me but having the first letter is definitely helpful. It challenges my brain in a very positive way. I hope you and your family had a lovely Christmas and that cutie-pie Charlie got some lovely presents. You're a gem Dale👨🏫 Best wishes, Reshy 🤗
Thank you Reshy 😊😊 I do enjoy coming up with them, especially the more obscure ones 😀. I hope all is good with you and your recovery is going well ❤️. We had a lovely Christmas thank you and Charlie was very happy with his presents (dinosaur and pirate stage at the moment 😂) Take care and a Happy New Year 🥂
Don’t worry about the score John - it seems lots of people scored less than usual this week. I’m pleased you enjoyed it and the next one will be a little easier 😀
13. Guess 1950s for the bonus for what it’s worth. H was among my many incorrect efforts but I remain puzzled. I don’t get how it can be the only bone which is connected to another bone. Logic suggests that the bone it connects to is also connected to another bone, no?
The hyoid bone is in your throat and is the only floating bone because it's not connected to any other bones it's only attached to muscle and ligaments. It's at the top of your larynx protecting the voice box
If the funny bone was a bone it would be either your ulna or radius bones because the humerus bone is your upper arm bone. But it makes sense it would be the nerve instead since it's essentially a pinched nerve that sends the pins and needles feeling shooting through your arm.
I’m sorry for your loss, it’s always a hard this time of year ❤️. I saw your message after I had posted the Pub Quiz, but I will be honest, I would be a little cautious of saying something in the quiz, only because it’s so personal and I just wouldn’t be comfortable. Take care and truly wish you the best during this difficult time.
K, is wrong. Khufu is the alleged builder of the great pyramid, however NO bodies have ever been found in any of the pyramids. So it cannot be conclusively proved that anyone was ever buried in one.

Thank you Mark 😊😊 and well done with your score 👏👏

Well done Ken 👍🏻 and you got the bonus 😀
13 right. That was a toughie. Thanks QMD.
Your welcome and the next one will be a little easier 😀
That was a tough one, Dale. Einstein died in the 1950s. Thaks. I may get a bunch wrong, but I enjoy your non multiple choice format on these.
Many thanks for the quiz Dale, Found that one a little tougher than your normal A-Z quizzes, ending up with 20/26.
❤23/26 1950’s for the bonus. 1955. Thank you Dale always fun challenge.

U: I thought the “funny bone” was the humerus, as it sounds ‘funny’.
I used to think the same but it is actually a nerve 👍🏻
If the funny bone was a bone it would be either your ulna or radius bones because the humerus bone is your upper arm bone. But it makes sense it would be the nerve instead since it's essentially a pinched nerve that sends the pins and needles feeling shooting through your arm.
24/26 - missed N and P. The answer to Y came up on my shuffle only an hour or so ago!
Bonus is 1950s. I think 1955 specifically but not sure.
It's funny that sort of thing always seems to happen
That’s my type of shuffle Adam 👍🏻👍🏻
Superb score and spot on with the bonus 👏👏
On the next pub quiz it was my grandfather birthday

But sadly passed away in June
Pls put this in the next pub quiz
