Thanks man. This is actually my first (modern) 3rd party review if you don’t count vintage KO figures as being 3rd party. I plan to display him behind glass in my half sized Billy Bookcase. I may do a super short video showing him in there when all is said and done. If it doesn’t fit in there then I hope my wife doesn’t mind me putting him on the center of the mantle in our living room...LOL

Yeah, it’s really tough to get noticed. Not only do you need to upload often (which he was doing) but you have to upload the right stuff to get the views and as much as I love his content as well as his honestly and the approach he took with his channel, it just didn’t get promoted or pushed on the platform. It’s shocking when you see the nonsense that does get promoted. People who leave and come back experience the same thing. It’s like you have to start all over again to build up the channel again. I’ve seen guys with over a thousand followers leave for 6 months and then return to only get a dozen or so views on their next few videos.
Wow I was not expecting that. To just see the truck mode through the whole video lol 😆 A SUPER detailed description on just the truck mode though! You definitely kept me interested. Like the moving window wiper (mp-10 does that too) 😁 I have a 3 minute transformation video (with music), one with easy to follow instructions too if looking to watch something easy to follow & forgot how OR nvr transformed ur MPP10. I think the smokestacks r actually made of alloy. Stainless steel, not diecast. I believe diecast is certain way its casted. Hence the word? Chogokin/alloy I believe is slightly different. For 37 years my father works on woodstoves. He claims this is fact. Dont worry I call everything diecast too lol 10:36 The parts that fold behind the front wheels are tucked away under truck. Dont forget to pull out those out alot of ppl miss them. ;) regardless great video love the style of film!

I will likely revisit your MP-10 video regardless just because it’s been a while since I transformed my figure and have only done it a few times in my life. Hmmm, that’s interesting about die cast vs stainless steel. I think I have always just used the term die cast when I discuss metal parts on my Transformers and Gobots. I’ll take your word for it. I really have no idea when it comes to first hand knowledge about it. Thanks for the reminder about the parts that fold behind the front wheels. I just hope I can dig up my MPP-10. I was disappointed that I couldn’t find it for this video but I think it’s a more important comparison in robot mode...or I’ll just keep telling myself that...LOL. This' why I only record in 1080 flat now for larger transforming figures. because I'm huge fan of doing transformations in full/no interruptions unles deem absol neccessary. I'm not positive on that it's what dad says. As I stated in the post I call everything diecast too, so it wasnt a correction but opening can of 'if the FANS terminology's wrong' worms. ;) I know how you feel Im constantly tryin to find things for comparison but I just don't have a lot of wiggle room in my studio. Broke my back twice imL so moving things 'round constantly & squeezing in areas isnt always easy for me. OH and your welcome lol
No, my editing app will crash constantly for longer videos after putting hours of work into them. It just won’t let me upload to my camera roll or even directly to UA-cam. I have had to redo a few video in the past using the raw footage because of it. It drives me nuts but I think two shorter but kore detailed videos is better in this particular case. People don’t seem to want to sit through long videos. I remember you mentioning your back injuries in the past. That must have been tough to deal with. The logical comparison in this particular review would be MP-10 and if that’s not handy than MPP-10. If neither of them are available the. You have to go with G1. Anything else gets dates in a really bad way when these videos get older. No one will care about a Transformers Siege comparison in another 2 years but they will always want to see how it stacks up to the original MP-10 (or MPP-10) or the Generation 1 version.
This is just incredible. I could never dream of buying one of these before Lewin Resources inevitably sells out and we get scalper prices, but this would be the perfect size for 6-inch figures to interact with (or even ride in!)
I think that when they stop production of these figures they will definitely go for scalper prices on the aftermarket. Unfortunately for many it just commands too much space to be a practical purchase. I will need to get this into robot mode quickly, finish my review and get him into my display case before my wife sees it. She is very supportive of my collecting but even I have to admit that this one is a bit much...LOL.

I can’t imaging anyone else every doing this scale of an MP figure again. Most people just don’t have the space to put something like this. The cost isn’t horrible given its size and metal parts. I hope they send me a replacement smokestack as well. I may have to wait a while if they need to source it from the company itself. Thanks for the compliment on my video. It’s hard to believe how large it is. You can kind of tell when I’m struggling to remove it form the bottom portion of the foam just how large it is compared to me. It’s pretty insane.

Hey bro. I think this will be a relatively low production run so I could imagine it doubling in value over the next 5 years or so. The transformation was tough because it’s heavy and huge and I didn’t want to break anything if there were any tolerance issues...especially on camera since I still would have had to carry on with the review. That thing is absolutely epic. Thanks for documenting and sharing...I can’t wait to see the bot mode. One suggestion that you can take or leave; that beautiful shiny die cast metal may be Zamac or something similar that could tarnish over time. A coat of Future acrylic floor polish might be cheap insurance and it’s completely removable if you change your mind down the road.
I’m 100% certain that Ages 3 and Up will look after me. They have been around much longer than other online dealers who corrected an identical QC issue. If they don’t I will be very disappointed with them and take my future business elsewhere.
@@TransformersAndVideoGames Especially at that price. How are you doing on Siege so far? I've got all of Wave 1 except for the Leaders. Still on the hunt for them.
I have found and bought everything from wave 1 of the Siege line except for the Leader class figures but I may pass on them anyways. I think Ultra Magnus has some issues in both truck modes but the robot looks good. I may get Shockwave if there is a way to configure it into a reasonable gun mode. It looks like the gun handles are kibble on the figure so there may be a way to do it that HasTak aren’t promoting so that they don’t have to call it a “submarine” mode.
Where are your gloves ????? 🤪 touching all that wonderful chrome with your hands is a sin. 😀. It looks wonderful M, too bad about the smokestack issue. I don’t know what all the parts in the baggie are for except for the little round blue dots. Those are for inside each battery compartment. They don’t install well so Lewin has decided to not include them on the next batch coming in late January 2019. Honestly I may buy one just to keep in G1 truck mode to put next to my Ultimetal Optimus. It won’t scale perfectly, but may make my display pop a little more. Can’t wait for Transformation video. 👍
Hi Lotus. Funny, the thought of getting gloves crossed my mind. I touched the chrome but didn’t man handle it so it didn’t even leave fingerprints. Well, I suppose I did on the side mirrors. I better give them a wipe. Thanks the insight on the little, round blue plastic pieces in the baggie. If they’ve stopped including them them perhaps I’ll sell mine on eBay for a nice little profit since they are very limited...LOL. Since discovering my smoke stack issue I watched one random Lewin Optimus Prime review on UA-cam and the guy had the same issue. I think he bought his from TF-Direct. I asked if they replaced it and he said that they did. Ages 3 and Up have been around for years so I’m assuming that this won’t be a problem if other on-line retailers have replaced them. I think you would enjoy the figure if you got it but you have to transform it at least one time. Cheers M
Transformers and Video Games Please wipe the chrome with a soft microfiber towel for my own OCD LOL. Yeah I’m sure A3&Up will take care of you too. Oh and if I do decide to buy one, I will transform him at least once, but for me I like the idea of keeping it in Truck mode for my display. I could tell the weight of those smoke stacks when you were handling them too. Ok now get some micro fiber cloths and get to work 🤪
LOL...I wonder if a brand new lense cloth (for my glasses) would do the trick. I would be worried if I bought it directly from eBay from a distant seller but I’m sure they will just reach out too the distributor and get me the part I need. They may even have extras on hand. I’m dreading the transformation a little bit. That’s right. I still haven’t done it yet. It took me a long time just to put his video, edit it, etc.
Transformers and Video Games I think a camera lens cloth will be just fine. I don’t think A3&UP will have the parts on hand, most likely they will reach out to lewin and get it that way. Lewin is building an international brand so I’m sure it’s easy to reach out to them directly as well. For example I’ve read on the forums that Gigapower is very good at communication and if you contact them they will help you when you break parts. They normally give the parts for free if you pay the shipping. I think a lot of 3rd party companies work this way to continue building their own brand. As for Transforming him it shouldn’t be too bad since he is large and normally the larger the figure the easier it is to transform. 👍
Those are excellent points but I would expect Ages 3 and Up to do the legwork here when it comes to the replacement part. I hope I don’t discover anything else when I transform it. I’m not worried about the transformation in general but trying to do a transformation this large on camera may pose a few problems.

I need to finished this review and get it into my display case before my wife sees it. I cant imagine what she would think. For some reason I thought this would be a must have for you but space is understandably an issue for most collectors. What am I going to do if they release a giant MP-36. Imagine that thing making its way through border customs? Would they insist on an orange plug or blaze be installed so that it couldn’t be be confused for a real Walter P38...LOL.
Yeah, it’s absolutely enormous. A trailer option would be wild. I can’t imagine them doing it but if they did, I’d need to park this thing in my driveway...LOL.
Great video and details. Shame about the flaw but it's good overall - way too big for me hahah but I think it was a very cool idea and suits many's taste for sure.

the grey parts at battery doors one small blue piece fits the head. the big blue clip holds the legs together in truck mode. btw if he was built to full scale he would be 53 ft. tall.

Hey brother. I’m really glad you enjoyed the review. It took me a quite while to do. Well, probably longer than it should have. I chopped out chunks of me wrestling with it so that the video would flow better and so that people wouldn’t tune out. It really is an amazing figure. I’m actually attempting to transform it as we speak (well, I took a breather to respond to a few comments...LOL). The transformation has had a few scary moments. Parts on mine are super tight. I would be really upset if I broke something seeing as I just want to transform it once for my review and then display it in robot mode on my shelf. Hi there. I watched another review in which they said the extra plastic parts are screw covers and battery compartment covers. My Atlas is being delivered on Monday, so I can confirm this then.

There’s a lot to like about this figure. I’d be curious to know if yours has the same issue that mine does of not being able to peg all 4 chest pegs into all 4 holes.
At first the chest wouldn't tab in, but after I adjusted the angle of the head piece (the part with the pegs on) it eventually tabbed in properly. I got the Lewin Resources magnetic Autobot insignia and it looks great. I asked the seller to check the smoke stacks before sending, so they're good.
I really appreciate you getting back to me. I tried to tab all 4 tabs on the chest again but I don’t think I can do it without stressing the tabs or potentially breaking them. I’ll just have to live with only 2 of the 4 tabbed in. It looks fine in my opinion although it would look a little better if I could get all 4 of them to tab in properly. Good thinking about asking the seller about the smokestacks in advance. If I had known that this was a potential problem, I would have done the same thing. Thanks again for letting me know about your experiences with this figure so far.

The transformation was tough because it’s heavy and huge and I didn’t want to break anything if there were any tolerance issues...especially on camera since I still would have had to carry on with the review. I still haven’t done it yet. For the price, buying it can be pretty easily justified if you have the space and the money set aside for it.
This is a super big figure great review it suck that the smoke stack was not available. The price is alot but it sure is one awesome figure. :)

One suggestion that you can take or leave; that beautiful shiny die cast metal may be Zamac or something similar that could tarnish over time. A coat of Future acrylic floor polish might be cheap insurance and it’s completely removable if you change your mind down the road.

I’m 100% certain that Ages 3 and Up will look after me. They have been around much longer than other online dealers who corrected an identical QC issue. If they don’t I will be very disappointed with them and take my future business elsewhere.

How are you doing on Siege so far? I've got all of Wave 1 except for the Leaders. Still on the hunt for them.
I have found and bought everything from wave 1 of the Siege line except for the Leader class figures but I may pass on them anyways. I think Ultra Magnus has some issues in both truck modes but the robot looks good. I may get Shockwave if there is a way to configure it into a reasonable gun mode. It looks like the gun handles are kibble on the figure so there may be a way to do it that HasTak aren’t promoting so that they don’t have to call it a “submarine” mode.

I don’t know what all the parts in the baggie are for except for the little round blue dots. Those are for inside each battery compartment. They don’t install well so Lewin has decided to not include them on the next batch coming in late January 2019.
Honestly I may buy one just to keep in G1 truck mode to put next to my Ultimetal Optimus. It won’t scale perfectly, but may make my display pop a little more.

Hi Lotus. Funny, the thought of getting gloves crossed my mind. I touched the chrome but didn’t man handle it so it didn’t even leave fingerprints. Well, I suppose I did on the side mirrors. I better give them a wipe.
Thanks the insight on the little, round blue plastic pieces in the baggie. If they’ve stopped including them them perhaps I’ll sell mine on eBay for a nice little profit since they are very limited...LOL.
Since discovering my smoke stack issue I watched one random Lewin Optimus Prime review on UA-cam and the guy had the same issue. I think he bought his from TF-Direct. I asked if they replaced it and he said that they did. Ages 3 and Up have been around for years so I’m assuming that this won’t be a problem if other on-line retailers have replaced them.
I think you would enjoy the figure if you got it but you have to transform it at least one time.

LOL...I wonder if a brand new lense cloth (for my glasses) would do the trick. I would be worried if I bought it directly from eBay from a distant seller but I’m sure they will just reach out too the distributor and get me the part I need. They may even have extras on hand. I’m dreading the transformation a little bit. That’s right. I still haven’t done it yet. It took me a long time just to put his video, edit it, etc.

I don’t think A3&UP will have the parts on hand, most likely they will reach out to lewin and get it that way.
Lewin is building an international brand so I’m sure it’s easy to reach out to them directly as well.
For example I’ve read on the forums that Gigapower is very good at communication and if you contact them they will help you when you break parts. They normally give the parts for free if you pay the shipping.
I think a lot of 3rd party companies work this way to continue building their own brand.
As for Transforming him it shouldn’t be too bad since he is large and normally the larger the figure the easier it is to transform.

Those are excellent points but I would expect Ages 3 and Up to do the legwork here when it comes to the replacement part. I hope I don’t discover anything else when I transform it. I’m not worried about the transformation in general but trying to do a transformation this large on camera may pose a few problems.

Happy New Year, Graham. You are quite right about the size. I have it in robot mode right now and it’s about the size of a child. I need to finished this review and get it into my display case before my wife sees it. I cant imagine what she would think. For some reason I thought this would be a must have for you but space is understandably an issue for most collectors. What am I going to do if they release a giant MP-36. Imagine that thing making its way through border customs? Would they insist on an orange plug or blaze be installed so that it couldn’t be be confused for a real Walter P38...LOL.
Man.....I have to shake my head at how huge this thing it. Can you imagine if you have the option to get an actual trailer to go with this?
Yeah, it’s absolutely enormous. A trailer option would be wild. I can’t imagine them doing it but if they did, I’d need to park this thing in my driveway...LOL.

If it won’t fit in my half sized Billy Bookcase I’ll stick it in my video game collection room but it would be a bit of a shame if I have to do that since I’d prefer to display it behind glass. the grey parts at battery doors one small blue piece fits the head. the big blue clip holds the legs together in truck mode. btw if he was built to full scale he would be 53 ft. tall.

Hey brother. I’m really glad you enjoyed the review. It took me a quite while to do. Well, probably longer than it should have. I chopped out chunks of me wrestling with it so that the video would flow better and so that people wouldn’t tune out. It really is an amazing figure. I’m actually attempting to transform it as we speak (well, I took a breather to respond to a few comments...LOL). The transformation has had a few scary moments. Parts on mine are super tight. I would be really upset if I broke something seeing as I just want to transform it once for my review and then display it in robot mode on my shelf. Hi there. I watched another review in which they said the extra plastic parts are screw covers and battery compartment covers. My Atlas is being delivered on Monday, so I can confirm this then.

There’s a lot to like about this figure. I’d be curious to know if yours has the same issue that mine does of not being able to peg all 4 chest pegs into all 4 holes.
At first the chest wouldn't tab in, but after I adjusted the angle of the head piece (the part with the pegs on) it eventually tabbed in properly. I got the Lewin Resources magnetic Autobot insignia and it looks great. I asked the seller to check the smoke stacks before sending, so they're good.
I really appreciate you getting back to me. I tried to tab all 4 tabs on the chest again but I don’t think I can do it without stressing the tabs or potentially breaking them. I’ll just have to live with only 2 of the 4 tabbed in. It looks fine in my opinion although it would look a little better if I could get all 4 of them to tab in properly. Good thinking about asking the seller about the smokestacks in advance. If I had known that this was a potential problem, I would have done the same thing. It really is. If I’m not mistaken he’s a little larger than Titans Return Fortress Maximus if that gives you an idea of scale.
