I'm 40 and I didn't recognize most of the rules they were using here. "Jumping in" and "challenges" were not a thing when I was a kid. If they were, nobody I ever played with knew about them or told me. It's possible the rules have changed over the years. Not sure though.

These rules are exclusive to this version of Uno, they were custom rules that were optional that became so beloved that a significant portion of uno players now use them as if they were the default.

It only reappeared after someone played a card, and you'll never guess what they drew from the draw pile then (it was the blue reverse card that had been played, as I recall) Fun facts.
There's a game I REALLY recommend for Game Grumps vs if you want! It's called "Puyo Puyo Tetris" I think the first game is only 7$ on sale right now on PS4! It's EXTREMELY FUN! There's a mode called Big bang mode. Best mode is the game for me.

This is not the Uno I grew up playing. You either had a match or you drew cards. That was it. To jump in you have to have the exact same color and number card as was just played. To challenge a plus 4 means you believe they could have played something else instead of the plus 4. Withdrawing to match means you have to draw a card until you get one you can play and then must play it. 7-0 rules means that if you play a 7, you can swap hands with someone, if you play a 0, everyone swaps hands clockwise. All house rules that can be turned on or off by the host. And of course, always call uno before leaving youself with only one card
