Zia Somjee and Kristian Hay make up two of the three founders of ZAK - a full service creative agency in Vancouver specialized in brand development and visual identity. Over the last 6 years, ZAK has helped clients big and small strengthen their brand voice through strategy, visual identity, and a multi-disciplinary approach to design.
ZAK approaches typography as one piece of a visual puzzle, something that can be used in bold and image-centric ways, or in more subtle and textural ways. Always asking the question, “how can this help tell a story”, ZAK has a specific viewpoint on type and the role it plays in visual communication.
