Thank you for having me, Yvonne. It was an honour to be able to see and feel the whole herd up close. I have only very little experience with horses and it’s only through following your channel for a long time now and your trustworthy presence and explanations that I was able to just walk into that meadow with you and being surrounded by 10 horses without any fear or problem. Okay, they might have tried to walk me over a little bit, haha. The horses are all so gentle and the young ones very cheeky and curious, I enjoyed it all very much. Queen Uniek is so big and yet, she just put her head over my shoulder in a willing hug. It was a wonderful experience! And Johnny, sigh… Johnny, I think Frieda might have a rival :)

It was a very thoughtful gift to Annemarie that she could meet with the Ladies Herd and some of them have appreciated the cuddles they received especially Lianne and Ginny the beautiful Fillies from Saly It was nice also to see boss Geertje and Myrthe 😢 and a short glance at Uniek 😢 You were a very good teacher Yvonne and I am sure it was a precious souvenir for Annemarie

@@MsArishiaNishi You're right. Never thought of Lianne in that terminology, but when Yvonne enunciates Lianne the Dutch way, with that extra syllable at the end, the cadence of Lianne actually sounds like a highly resonating being---a musical note.

@@conservativevicki7612 Yes, they are wonderful! I'm almost 76. I had had horses for 30 years of my adult life. We've been in Texas only 10 year, Washington was home. I had horses for 30 years of my adult life and outlived them all. I finally decided to let them go. But they're still my favorite animal in all creation!!!!

the Frisian language sounds beautiful when you speak it.....you are a very good host explaining everything so well.....I am convinced you are the most proficient horse whisperer in the world....your knowledge of their behavior is mind boggling ....if it weren't for covid I would visit the Netherlands and Friesland. since I started watching your videos I have become interested in the history of the Netherlands.....I have a degree in modern European history but never studied the Netherlands much. there are some absolutely magnificent masonry buildings there that are hundreds of years old that I would love to see.

So exciting. I could only dream of being able to visit one day. I’d even help with chores just for the shear pleasure of being in the barn. When I was a child I helped on a horse farm in Scotland for a week and I really think it was the best week of my life. I was so happy. I’ve always found the smell of horses and the saddles to be pleasant as well as the sweet hay.

Growing up in Chicago U S A I never had a chance to see or touch any horses. I saw some on TV westerns and never thought of them being so loving, curious, cheeky and obedient. I am so happy I found your channel on You tube.It has entertained and educated me. You are so in tune to your herd knowing what and when they are going to do something. . Please keep making these videos for the world to see the " HORSE WHISPERER " in action. You have put a big smile on an old PAKE .
