    So many of these things are GENIUS!! That is absolutely incredible. I love it. Great video. Thank you! 😁❤

      We really have missed this room on every ship we've sailed since. They did a great job...though I do wonder how often the fancy door hinge will be cursed at by maintenance folks 🤭

    So wide and open! New Carnival ships are so narrow. Great tour!

      The space between the bed and the wall was where it was most noticeable, and the bathroom. Absolutely great room.

    We recently cruised on the Prima and were in the front facing Club Suite. Nice room but I would rather have had a balcony. I mìssed the view from the side of the ship.
    Thanks for sharing.

      Thanks for watching. How did you feel about the Club Suite otherwise?

      @CruiseHabit I would not book again unless the price decreases. There was no view ftom the balcony and comparing the Club Suite on this ship to others (Joy/Blìss), the bathroom is smaller...I'll do a balcony instead.

    The water provided free was supposed to change to 6 free ltrs in 2023, but on my last cruise this month the Breakaway said it was a promo. The article I read said nothing about it only being given as a promo. Guest Services said it was only for those booking in Sept-Dec 23.
    They could at least add it as a Gold Latitudes and above perk! Come on NCL it's WATER!

    Nothing about extra cost to provide more room?

      What are you referring to, I’m not sure what I said about ‘BB’ 🫣
      I mention that the room is a category BA (one of the categories of balcony staterooms on Prima. Was that it?

    Hi, is the shower stall larger than Virgin's or the same size?

    • @CruiseHabit
      @CruiseHabit  Рік тому

      The shower is significantly larger than that in insider, sea view, and sea terrace rooms on Virgin. It's similar in size (perhaps different dimensions, however) to that of an the shower in an XL sea terrace on VV - which is quite large.

    Any recommendations for WCA Balcony rooms?

    • @CruiseHabit
      @CruiseHabit  Рік тому +1

      By WCA, do you mean Western Caribbean? If so, I've personally not found that any given itinerary offers particular advantages on one side vs the other. I suppose the only factor might be the time of day the light hits your room on a TA sailing. On others, you are going every which direction, you'll be docking in whatever way is most convenient for traffic and port conditions, etc. Some have preferences, for sure, but we've not found a "better or worse" side of the ship.
      Now, for decks, many look to avoid being right below the pool deck (since late night and early morning cleaning can be noisy), and while some prefer the views on higher decks, for those sensitive to motion, you'll want to be closer to the water line. Similarly, being midship (rather than all the way forward or aft) is preferable from a motion standpoint, and sometimes docking noise. These factors don't matter nearly as much if you're not sensitive to motion (and perhaps noise in terms of mooring operations).

      @@CruiseHabit Wheel Chair Accessible

    • @CruiseHabit
      @CruiseHabit  Рік тому +1

      Ahhh, got it. Apologies.
      While I've not seen them on Prima, the size of the rooms is such that I can imagine it's especially impressive on that ship. The only real advice here is to book early - as you may have found in the past, they can sometimes fill up, it just depends on luck since there aren't a ton available. A good travel agent can make it easier to look at all sailings/ships of interest and find ones with accessible rooms available.

    What does BA mean ?

    • @CruiseHabit
      @CruiseHabit  Рік тому

      It's just the category code the line uses to designate this type of room. There are no real rules, each line does it differently, but you can usually figure that in this case, where the room is a BA1, a BA2 might be a balcony but in a slightly less desirable location, for example. These codes are useful when booking a room or looking at a deck plan so you know what to expect.

    This UA-cam app thumbs-up isn't working right away. Clinking does nothing immediately, but shows up later. Even edits do the same thing.

    For those who use the hair dryer it is irritating that it is in the room and appears to be hardwired. Should be able to bring it into the bathroom!

    • @CruiseHabit
      @CruiseHabit  Рік тому

      Good call out. Plenty of space at the vanity, but strange that it can't be moved. On the other hand, many ships don't have high-current outlets in the bathroom anyway (for reasons I'm not sure of, come to think of it).
