The moment Vitilan matches Wired's power and speed I'm a customer. As of right now Wired takes the cake.
Agree.
I really like this frame over the freedom, now they needs to add the 60v batt :D
The specs on that eahora romeo look great, ebike competition is getting tough, I love it!
August delivery WiredFreedom owner(mid upgrade)but very satisfied! I'm 235lbs I live in hills of northern California. Hit 42 on straight. 18 mph up steep hills 3rd gear pedal 2 or 3.
Sounds about right😁
So the wired freedom is really a good e bike? Serious question I’m looking around for a bike and it’s been wired freedom, mowheel obsiden, and the hiboy p6. Is the wired the best option in ur opinion?
Love the color also. Great looking bike & headlight.
Looks cool. I like the wired better I think. The steering rubber stopper should be moved up or down maybe to not use the wires to stop it. Great review! Thanks!
Well it’s good enough for me in Europe although not quite legal but as I was about to get a himiway but felt your review was so positive and helpful, as all your videos are, I have purchased one today.
Had lots of communication with the company and certainly get good response, they spoke to the manufacturers about being able upgrade to 100mm hydraulic front forks for down hill which is ok to do.
& supplying a second battery weighing 5.1Kg
So yep saved money over the himiway and hope to have a similar ride.
Thanks for sharing your vast knowledge oh yes and it will be Yellow 😮
that's a really sharp looking ans well put together ebike.... you get a really good bike for the price...
Black and Yellow goes nice. Cool bike.
Wow nice bike ! Love the fit & finish and Dual Crown Forks with full 4 link suspension on this ebike ! If the Vitilan had a 60v battery and 2000 w motor with 40 amp controller with BMX handlebars, I would consider this over the Wired freedom. Even if it was a bit more money than the Freedom. In its current form I think its too weak for me. Plus the low Handlebars are a deal breaker. It's Hard to change that if the leads are too short. Great review as usual.
Very nice good presentation this is 1 on my list
Wired Freedom & Cruisers are currently going for $1,999.00 for their 2024 models.
They are 2250 as shipping is not included and costs $250.
@@logitech12345678910 I agree, + Ins for the wired if you want it.......... MATH is $2250 for a shipped Wired... $1800 for a shipped T7 (with discount code) That is a BIG difference.... PLUS one is available NOW, the other is a pre-order.
Yea that shipping charge sucks. Held me back from ordering.@@logitech12345678910
Wired freedom is better spec wise. But goddamn is it ugly. Bmx bikes on a mountain bike?
This bike isn’t bad either
He reviewed the wired freedom anyway
Very nice bike! Definitely want one. Love the helmet!
Yes, liking the yellow
Thanks for showing the battery removal!! Can you do that with the wired freedom too?
Great bike. Vitilan makes one of the better 20x4 ebikes too. I'm team long front fender, throttle limited to PAS speed best, but with full blast throttle. I'm also on team forward stem like this bike has. Would be very helpful to know if throttle response and 9 PAS levels is possible to fix in settings.
We have the vitilan I7 and absolutely love it, but damn Vitilan when are you guys going to release a 52v bike?! The 48v is impressive with the 750watt motor used with peak 1200watts but competition at this price are using 52v and even 60v on the wired bikes! It is dope that vitilan ships the bikes out the box 28mph though lol idk how or why they do that but I love that about them lol
There are a lot of better bikes for the money and cheaper with with similar features. Keep shopping folks!
Definitely a good looking 26x4 bike. For me, lack luster in the power department but for a legal class 3 with good suspension I’d recommend it. Was the pas power or speed based btw? Maybe I missed that in the vid but it definitely changes the riding experience.
PAS is based on speed
Citizencycle a nice upgrade to this fat tire ebike. Is the black racing strip on the fenders should be yellow just like the yellow on the bike.
Wired is completely messing up the eBike market right now with their pricing. Like, what would be the benefit of paying almost the same amount for less of a bike?
I'm torn right now for my 2nd ebike bc wired gives you so much power. The only thing holding me back is I wish they made the battery in the frame and there so many other sporty beefy framed bikes out there. Just wish the wired bikes didn't have that normal bike look to them even though they are very nice.
@@darrylphillips6301that's what's good about the freedom, it looks like a beefy BMX bike but flies. If you want a bike that looks like a moped buy a moped lol.
@@dawhoda1 bro moped style? Lol I already have a juiced ripracer, vitilan I7, and a much better looking 26x4 freesky Himalaya that goes 35mph unlocked. None of them moped style. Point is there are much better looking bikes with batteries in frame which are much cleaner looking not to mention more protection for it. It literally looks like a regular bike with a battery on it😂
@@darrylphillips6301 batteries in frame are much better looking..and the freedom is ugly af..but the issue with inframe batteries is they’re proprietary designs. Only the bike company sells replacements
@@slimdunkin117 spot on bro
Great looking bike but 750W? So 2019. Who wants an eBike with less than 1500W these days? Depending on size of rider and type of terrain somewhere between 1500 - 2500 seems pretty much ideal no?
I would love more power, too, but Each company seems to handle the class ratings power a little differently.
It is slow junk. No one I know want to have to buy a new bike that is overdue for a expensive upgrade. You should not be pushing such crappy overpriced products. Find improved value and performance technology needs to advance. Slow ebikes are the worst idea.
Citizencycle pushing this bike abit more than it deserves. Why 28mph top speed with 25a controller?.. slowest start bike everrr making the 25a controller redundant. is there a throttle delay/start when in higher speeds? 330lbs capacity for a thick heavy frame is on the lower side..even kept the reflectors on.. big headlight for show? Is it good for wide angle or just beam?
I like the throttle/shifter setup and lower seat capability for full suspension. New Wired bikes still better by far.
Goesriding.... I agree 100% with you!!! Except.... Is the wired better?? Motor wise, yes. But overall "I think" the T7 is a better bike at a way lower cost...... I really like the Wired and I really like the Vitlan T7 !! It is a good time to be eBike shopping.
@@skypros7 wired freedom is 1500w continous/2200w peak motor. 60v 20ah battery. 138nm torque. 40mph+ top speed. $1999. Drools*
More like $2400 for the wired all in!
@@johnconwell6357new price is still a decent deal.
Love your reviews, very informative. So what's the lightest full size ebike I can get. I like all the features of ebikes but the +60lbs keeps me from getting one.
if you want to keep it under 60lbs you will have to go with a non fat tire ebike, i cant name and fat tire bikes under 60lbs
I bought a Radtrike. Not happy with it already having mechanical issues. Trikes are in right now. Add motor has some cool ones. They are fun for what they do. But tricky to drive till you get used to them. Also limited to flat ground or they can tip.
I thought about getting a trick but I feel like it would take up a lot of room. Sorry about your rad issues. Hopefully, you can fix without too much trouble.
Wow nice looking Bike
Most freak crashes are at slow speed. High speed helmet only is bad news. Nice Dew Rag on first helps in Winter temps. I use one.
I completely agree with you about needing to wear a helmet always whether going slow or fast! I love Citizen, but I hate when UA-camrs give a bad example by not wearing the appropriate safety gear…
I know of 3 separate people killed cycling at slow speeds without a helmet on. It's just plain stupid to admit You don't use one. The first thing to hit the ground is Your 10 pound ball on a rubber band.
I just ordered an eaHora Romeo Pro, actually waiting on it to be delivered today.
If i hadn't just ordered that, I would 100% be buying this right now, and I still might.
I was going back and forth between the Wired Freedom and Romeo Pro, but if I had known about this one, it would have been a 3 way race.
The eahora pro is in my shopping cart...... I just can't do it, knowing it will most likely come with "generic" batteries. Also the weight at over 120# is kinda a negitive, but what would you expect with a battery bank like that. Also the Romeo Pro is a GREAT LOOKING bike !!
@@skypros7 My aventon aventure is like 80 lbs and I am 6'4 225 son of an NFL player in great shape. Fuck A 120lb bike that's insanity unless you own A garage and never have to lift or park the bike.
Great review! PLEASE find the rear tail light pig tail and do tell . Thankyou
Like it citezen. When's the comparison to wicked, wired bike
Good looking bike but not enough power.. 35-40 Mph only for me😊
I agree and more lower end torque.
Can you ride the new Wired freedom no handed as well? Great point on the stability. Appreciate the reviews, always very detailed and universal for everyone. Thanks
I'll have to try and no-hand the wired and let you know.
@@CitizenCycle925👍 Beast.
Does the pedal assist control speed or power? Some bikes the pedal assist will give more power to bring the bike to a certain speed based on the the assist level, power assist does a much more controlled operation.
PAS is speed based
How would you compare this to the Himiway Cobra? Looks very similar minus the torque sensor.
Costs a lot less than the Cobra, power is similar, same battery size, Suspension is similar, Vitilan display is better and top speed is faster.
Thank you for the review. I'm very interested in this bike after your review. I'm curious if you can take the handle bar stem off as you mentioned and replace it with one that rotates forward. My husband and I prefer to be more upright. We have Trek Marlen Mt. bikes and changed the stem so the bars are taller and rotate forward for a more comfortable ride. We aren't sure if regular Mt. bike components fit electric bikes? It looks like there is plenty of slack in the wires. Thanks for your time!
Yes , very easy to swap out handlebar stem, I believe fork tube diameter is 1 1/8in or 28.6mm
Thanks for the response. Did you find this bike to be tall? I'm 5'6' with a 30" inseam. Their site doesn't give a measurement for the stand over height. It's difficult to find a full suspension Ebike that will handle our terrain here in NH and fit a smaller frame. Any suggestions would be welcome. Thank you for your time. Your videos have been very informative!@@CitizenCycle925
Hey Citizen, have you got any clue if Bafang will make the front G062 1000w ?
No idea, I wish there was a place to buy them easily, good amout of folks looking for them.
I like everything except the clunky big headlight. Makes it look like a weird moped or something. Imagine that off and a wired freedom style light there? It'll give it that (upper priced) ebike look
The review for this should be 3 seconds: "This is the VITILAN T7 eBike, but get the Wired Freedom instead."
How does the suspension compare the the new Freedom? It looks very similar.
Very very similar, both are great, same shock.
What app do you use on your phone?
This looks like the exact battery of the Himiway Zebra. Is that correct Bryan are the batteries identical and interchangeable ? Cheers
I no longer have the T7 so I can't check.
All these new ebikes. Ive got an XF800 CYRUSHER. Crappyb13 amp battery. But stilll 28 to 32 mph. Usless range 20 . No matter what. Any tips. Settings seem to be what they've been set at and seem to be correct. Got the Bafung unrestricted 750 watts motor. Just annoying.
What gps app do you use?
what are your thoughts this vs freedom? .. looks like freedom has much more higher top speed
Freedom has much stronger performance but this has equivalent suspension and probably better looks and with my code its only $1750... its all in what is important to you.
Hi, do you have your phone on the bike with an app to show the speed? thank you
Yeah finders bit short both front and back..unless you don’t mind of mud splash 💦 on you..?
How much does it cost?
That interference with turning of the wheel in tight places killed the deal for me. I stopped watching video when I saw that. I store my bikes in a tight space, so every time I would have to lift the bike and turn it around to get it out. Not gonna do that. Very surprised this company would even release this bike to the public with that flaw in its design. I also turn around in narrow streets and in my driveway while pedaling. This design would hinder me. I liked the headlight, but not the plastic fenders. However no amount of bonus gifts or price reductions would make me a buyer of this poor design. Appreciate that you didn't hide the flaw from us in your review, CC.
Sorry the fork design killed the deal for you. But glad the video was helpful...
@@CitizenCycle925 Don't feel bad, CC. Your review sold me on the Aventon Aventure, and I'm enjoying the heck out of it.
I wasn't conserving on the first full battery charge, trying to see how fast I could ride it, and I got 44 miles at 0% remaining on the gauge. Top speed I got was consistent with your review, and 23-25 mph was easy to maintain.
Now I'm going to see how far it will go if I ride in eco mode all the time. Rode 5 miles tonight, 10-13 mph, and the gauge still says 100% remaining.
Without your review, I'd never have known about or looked into the Avonton.
looks like a mid drive frame?
FFFFRRREEDDOOMMM!!
Seems like all the rest besides that weird cassette. Add some more power and you would have a winner.
Is it just me, or are the front forks bent? Looks bent in shots where you were outside * edit, I think its due to a fisheye lens being used.
Probably the camera i had to use an old GoPro to film this video. My newer gopro died. Maybe I have the settings different, i hate gopro, Just bought an Osmo camera I'll be using from here on out.
I'm interested to see how you like the Osmo. GoPros are nice but they do have issues that seem to get worse with each release. I notice you like to use 60fps in your vides, if you use a lower framerate like 24 or 30, it really helps with the sense of speed when you're riding because you get the background motion blur. The higher smoother framerates make it look slower @@CitizenCycle925
@shootthechit great info thanks, I have zero audio or video training but somehow have a youtube channel 😀
Looks like a pretty stout bike
Brake light ???? For $2100.00. That should be wired in.
Their website repeatedly calls the battery SAM-SUNG. Is that really a Samsung or a Chinese typo or a scam?
Haoqi Cheetah
These chinese companies have strong bikes. It would be better to have different sizes for clients. Most are only S size
Why do so many youtube accounts review tons of random chinese bikes from unknown brands? Why not review all of the other ebikes from established companies?
I bought the 2000w Ketels K800 pro dual hub 1000 hub motors for $1300. This bike is too expensive for a single 750 watt.
Wired Freedom is the ultimate choice but ugly bars
Brayan I am going have to unsubscribe from your channel, because every time I watch I end up wanting something different. 😂 I like this bike but it doesn’t have a torque sensor and I like the handlebars to come back a little bit rather then the straight bars. Do you know of any 4 point suspension bikes that have a torque sensor? Also any if there is any 4 point suspension that is not a fat tire bike? Thanks for another great video Ed
Cyrusher ranger and himiway Cobra had torque sensors. I tend to focus on the fat tire bikes. Not sure about skinny tire with 4link suspension.
And please stay subscribed haha 😊
No offense but wired holds the level of ebike at that price pretty much at that price and then some his bike doesn't even go about 30 miles an hour so I don't think that's going to be a big seller it doesn't even have the power but we all know that you Reiki bikes and you really can't say anything bad you just tell it like it is
This one cost to much cash 😮
Wow I guess Wired really destroys every other bike out there. This bike looks clean but wow what a disappointment in the power and acceleration.
That's a quarter twist not a full twist.
They claim they use "Samsung" brand batteries, but so do other manufacturers. They claim they do, but people claim their batteries still catch on fire, just like the garbage, off-brand batteries that most Chinese bikes use.
Good Lord, stop saying 4-link suspension. That is cantilever suspension. Suspension is not classified by how many bolts are in it. 🤦🏻
Anyone remember when these bikes came in different frame sizes? Now, most of the sizes available only work for those 5’10” and shorter. That may be OK with the moped style bike with 20” wheels but a bike like this is for mt. biking … with your knees hitting your chin.
way overpriced
Nothing special. Too slow with low range and overpriced. Why even review it? The headlight is nice. Many better performing and better value options are easy to find.
Did they send you the bike for free for a positive review? Because if Vitilan was a dick you'd be gagging about now.
I like the Wired better..... But the wired shipped/ins = $2300 The VITILAN T7 shipped = $1800 (w/discount code) that makes the wired $500 more....... There are positives on each, so now we have to think, is the Wired worth $500 more than the VITILAN T7 ????? I say no, But am I ordering the VITILAN T7...... No the Motor in the Wired is something any bike that I buy must have (IE: the ability to customize for "off-road / private land use)..... If the VITILAN T7 had the equlivent hub motor that the wired has (and had to up their price a couple hundred bucks) They would have my ORDER..... as the VITILAN T7 is 90% of what I am looking for.
Why haven't I ordered a Wired....... I was, but when it came to the checkout page, the $325 ship/ins stopped me (along with the pre-order wait)..... I would of rather wired have their price to include shipping..... and then "maybe" offer a discount code. Anyways........ Winter Rain/Snow/cold is about to hit, so I can shop for the perfect bike as I have months before I could really enjoy it.
Thanks CitizenCycle........ Your reviews are the best, because of you..... I am able to make a informed decision, that without your great channel, would make it quite difficult.
Glad you found the video helpful.!!
Can you comment about the maintenance or repair for these companies? If there are issues, what is customer support?
I see so many e-bike companies doing huge Black Friday sales, but not wired freedom, plus I have to pay $325 shipping when all other e-bikes offer free shipping, so no, I’m not buying it, $2300 is probably still good deal, but not for me, unless it’s free shipping, plus there is e-bike law, if I can hit 40mph without e-bike laws, then I’m all for it. Also, wired still haven’t achieved UL certification.
