Let me know if you guys enjoy this type of content =)
Its so genius
This is great to watch, more please
its godly
Its the best content I've seen in a few years
I liked it would like to see more but with different streamers to help you invest too and give advice. Pokie not gonna lie was annoying at times.
Dude that was an awesome idea for a stream, the candidates, overall, were quite impressive
This needs to become a series, really cool idea :)
except with smart people instead of Pokimane
It's not really a cool idea as much as it's copying a tv show onto twitch. Aka scuffed shark tank but I can dig it.
I think now it is impossible
That didnt age well
:(
the guy with the youtube extension idea is literally something that youtube should do but they dont because they recommend all the wrong content
his extension had no possible way to make money besides SELLING reconmended channels, meaning any company could pay big $$$ for that top spot and fuck over small creators even more, this dudes extension is garbage, also it wont keep the youtube video open if you change page or reload so its litterally useless. it would be better as an open source to allow user upgradability and keep big business out of it.
yes it is a good idea, but the only way to get money was probably donations but other than that it seems like he is on the right path to becoming a web/software dev at least
Dude this is great! You guys should make a series out of this! Its incredible how much you can help young startups. This is a very nice way of giving back to the gaming community. Keep up the great work reckful!
9:15 omfg saying that with a serious face like he did, straight outa silicon valley 😂😂😂👌
The extension the last guy is pitching is already built-in in Firefox. It's a really nice feature nonetheless!
I have Firefox and I'm not aware of it. What is it?
I can imagine in the future that there will be more streamers moving to other platforms like mixer, and we'd need an extension to categorize who the top streamers in each category are, I can see some use in that aspect.
???? He wasn't pitching the picture in picture feature alone. He was pitching that you can open the video in picture in picture FROM the extension.
@@somMelon But why would you go to the extension, I can get the same from youtube, it even let's me watch the video with the browser minimized and why would I need an extension to watch the last video of a channel, I can press the bell in a channel I'm subscribed to and see the video when it's out.
Half way through and so far im actually thoroughly impressed. The way most twich chats are, i expected pure pepega
The loud vocal minority might get all the attention are often what people look to in order label and entire group of people, but it hardly ever a lines with the majority of the group that is being blanked labeled. A lot of modern day racism is a good example of this.
28:40 Man, Poki’s reaction was amazing. Poor Byron cared too much about other’s opinions, and she was looking after that.
I just wonder if the stick has good response time. Thats something I would concentrate on and try to capitalize on.
2.20 Microsoft teams is the new platform for businesses. It uses SharePoint to store files, and I'm pretty sure that is secure enough
I LOVE THIS. Would love to be on the next show. What was the application process like to be on the show?
When and where can i buy that arcade stick?
Don't watch much of Poki but her business sense was very impressive, props
the end tho lol
This guy Reckful was such a smart guy!!! RIP!!!
I really really really enjoy this content!
22:07 idk why but as soon as I saw his face I thought "he looks portuguese..." ._. I guess we can easily recognize our own folk to a certain degree but it's still pretty weird how that was the first thing I noticed.
The thing the first guy proposed exists already, it’s called mattermost. Basically open-source slack. Lots of companies and government agencies use mattermost.
Just came across this and I absolutely love the Shark Tank style content!
Super fun and actually really enjoyable to watch
I really enjoy this concept but I would like to see it either with just Reckful or have guests who really do know about business enough to recognize an invest-able opportunity. With a recurring format it would also give people time to prepare a pitch as well as find guests who are coming for that purpose. Love it though, shark tank is one of my favorite shows and seeing it without the reality TV coat of paint is nice.
Austin Woodruff pretty much my criticism as well. Neither of them know enough about business (seemingly) to recognize an investable opportunity. I think having guest with better knowledge would be great.
Great vid! You might Even find programmers for other projects this way!
Poki's idea with the selective notifications in one spot is pretty good though
Your belief in people is amazing reckful!
Best content in a while
The joystick guy was promising and let down by the girl
I don't understand why Portugal guy doesn't just make it good. A browser extension that alerts you to new posts of any variety from any platform that you wish to receive and then you click open and it comes up in a separate window.
tbh i feel like that is gray area between copyright infringments and stuf like that, why would youtube/twitter or whatever allow that to hapen?
@@wolololer Good point. I am out of my depth here. I just know there are websites that have youtube videos and you watch the youtube ads but it is all on their website. And with twitter I know I see clips of twitter posts all over top journalism sites so that is what I am going off of.
This is awesome, love it
"they'll be pogging"
I like the arcade stick idea. Even if there are sticks for 20$ from china, I don't think the price should be the selling point, but the wood. A quick search on amazon doesn't bring up any wooden ones, just cheap looking plastic stuff. And if he can get better looking wood, make it look better and still sell them for 80-100 bucks, I think he could get some customers. Especially because each stick is handcrafted and unique.
Also he could show how it's done and sell DIY kits (just the parts and pre-cut wood) and assembled ones. I think this could work out.
The prices were way off. Theres no way hes making them in a 1/2 hour. He will last a day or two at 5 hours. Assemble time is short but prepping the wood would take hours on hours.
Also to add the wood can be stained to look better and the wood is better overall from an environmental standpoint
calling Reckful a Jew when Pokimane is the real cheap one
She doesn't want to shell money for content
Poki was very interested in how to get that guy's wood.
bruh any content from you these days is a gem... you rarely post unlike the old days .. =(
What Poki said at 28:49 hit me. Good advice I think. I worry about the same sorts of things all the time.
Reckful is just throwing around money xD
I love how smart Reckful is
Enrique can actually be on to something rly good/big there if hes doing what needs to be done etc. it seems like a rly sweet idea that should have been built into youtube from the beginning or at least now. the only thing he should try to do with the video part is, make open in picture by picture that way u can drag it switch page without it having closed.
UA-cam has two of these built in, and still don't work lol.
REST IN PEACE BRO I MISS YOU ALREADY 🕊
Picture in Picture lets me have youtube clips whereever I want.
the only way you can make good profits on arcade sticks is by making a PS4/Xbox/PC compatible PCBs which have low delay. Currently universal compatible PCBs cost around 80$.
Just putting this out there, most serious companies and even officials (government) don't use p2p skype or the consumer grade version. So don't worry about the security of it lol.
Poki was not ready to invest any money
this was a great idea
Again. I want to see another. good ep :)
Ouch
I wanna buy a controller from that guy! I actually need one :o
I wish he would stream or I would like to know if he made videos. He has a really nice personality.
OnlyStolenMemes his discord is Chlorine#1191
The custom joystick thing was pretty cool. It would be better if he made custom designs rather than plain wood
Ruthless Business Woman strikes again
lmao that guys degree got shat on
Twitch Shark Tank. 😂
Pokimane has the tonality of someone with deep knowledge. But everything she says is like babis first time.
Reckful helping out some small guys.
"Dude this guy fucks, this guy fucks" LMAO. RIP Byron
The last guy should have made it into a phone app, cause alot of people dont fuck around with extensions on their browser, but on o phone it would make more sense i think, and make it "free" with ads and have it cost like $5 for the ad free version.
how tf has he not knocked that candle onto his carpet yet
this content is the most interesting shit ive seen from twitch
I would use the extension to watch pokimane thicc compilations while browsing reddit
top left guy is handsome
When Poki said the guy with the extension is a lawsuit waiting to happen
LMAOOO what
The problem with the 2nd guy is that he never did a finished product only a demo, and im not sure about how big the market is for hit boxes. if on the other hand your doing custom controllers which you can commission custom art or make them custom per user then you can get more out of each order.
Searching arcade sticks already gives a lot of results for $40 and this guy wants to sell it for 80 even though it looks way worse. I don't think this is going anywhere. The only people that are going to buy it are reckful viewers.
yeah i agree. that 2nd kid should go for it... id buy a stick from him. i dont own one because they are so damn expensive...as they said LOL
that first guy looked a lot like fucking sneaky
Windows 10 latest updates already added picture in picture for any video RIP
Do more of this
Good guy reckful
Anyone got the link to the fightstick guy? i need a cheap one for tekken
9:09 legendary
great content, kinda sad i couldnt watch it live.
i personally feel like you guys are expecting too much, like these guys doing this stuff probably for the first time, decided to come on stream spontaneously, dont have a perfect business plan etc and most of them just need advice.
Yeah he really shouldn't be harshly criticizing the pitch aspect, thats asking too much on short/first time notice I agree
@@MrDemoPan If they are investing their own money, they absolutely should ask for a good pitch. If someone just wants advice, there are plenty of other stream sections for that.
I think this is a great watch, very entertaining! However, I do worry about the potential of a great idea being stolen given that this is all streamed live. It'd really break my heart to see any of these ambitious young people get screwed over.
With that said... great streams Reckful! I look forward to the next one!
-Ez
Ideas should be shared, otherwise we'd collectively miss out if one person fails
thats why u dont come up to this stuf with an idea, like the 1st kid he comes in with nothign but his "miraculous" idea, like he doesnt even know how to start doing it. when u go to this stuf u gota be into that idea already making it work or atleast close to that
The second guy wtf
What about him?
poki was speaking out of her ass with the last pitch at certain points, but overall she impresses me the most of all the young content creators for mental presence and capacity, like she actually was debating her analysis and trying to engage the pitches.
Really entertaining, you should do it with someone who is actually gonna invest tho.
Do this again, I wanna come on and pitch for you :-D
Is that a UIL trophy behind him, I also have one of those.
i love this
Poki is quite smart actually
I watched xqc do something similar today so I came back to this video with byron :)
I enjoyed the type of content but people need more time to prepare and proof of concepts/prototypes definitely help.
The 2nd guy didn't need 10k for the idea he pitched but it can be used for researching similar but better ideas.
But he definitely should look into making DIY kits where people don't have to drill or solder themselves. Then make a website where people can pick the different parts (like colors of buttons, grips for the stick, etc).
Chat is right when they say there is a lot of competition (even cheap ones) that have better finished products. *But something that is missing on the market is controllers for people with a disability (they need bigger controls and different layouts). Recently there was a news articles about a dad that made a Nintendo switch controller for his daughter with a disability to play Zelda BotW. Several console manufacturers showed interest so they might make one themselves but for people with a disability there often is no one-controller-fits-all. A system to customize the controller layout yourself (different sizes of controller boards where you snap in buttons) would benefit both gamers with a disability and gamers who like customization (custom painting, custom 3d printed shapes, etc).*
The 3rd guy:
Firefox already has Picture-in-Picture mode built into the browser (always top layer and no need to be focused on that browser tab). I use it for both UA-cam and Twitch. Making his extension kinda pointless (in it's current state it does less than the builtin feature). Besides the builtin feature there are hundreds of similar extensions that work on both desktop and mobile.
Both Twitch and UA-cam also have both email, app and browser notifications. It's really easy for websites to implement browser notifications.
The 1st guy clearly hasn't heard about Microsoft Teams that replaced Skype and integrates OneDrive, Sharepoint and office365. But there are also several alternatives both hosted online or self-hosted.
For the last one you just use reddit enhancement suite right?
Woah Dragon's Den really changed wtf
gord vidya
this shit is hilarious
I think this series would be better if the candidates were vetted on their ideas. It was kind of hard watching people pitch things that didn't make sense or things that already existed.
FYI: Byron, the way you left after the guy came and said he is a big fan of you and clearly didn't really care about Poki, was really rude.
Yeah, I don't know why he did that. He said he was a big fan and to have Reckful just say "I'm out" without any reason, and to leave before hearing the entire pitch is just so out of the blue and disrespectful...
Why else? Because Byron is a piece of shit. Nothing new.
Maybe because he just don't feel the idea?
@@Polyrthyawhut I stand behind it. Byron is a nice guy, just sometimes doesn't think before acting.
@@Pytliczello He didn't listen to the idea fully, just re-watch the reaction of the guy and you will understand what I mean
Oh no no no he actually invested 10k PepeLaugh
28:16 itsJustNery
PORTUGALLLLLLL CARALAHOOOOOOOOO
Rest in peace
My idea now !!
Reckful has a good soul
He's the only real streamer
He's gullible
@Jimbo This is the same reckful just on shrooms lmao
Second kid needs to 3D print the controller out of a cheap recycled material, would make large scale and aesthetic so much easier and fault proof
I think wood would be much stronger and won't lose quality
Wood looks so much nicer when properly finished
Well if you use plastic there´s zero difference to those fight sticks you find on alibaba, wish or gearbest. There´s no way a single dude can compete with chinese companys.
Ill fasho buy a fight stick for 80 hands downs.
I would have HAD this one easy!
Rest in peace💔🥀
dude i want on the show... i dont need 10k either.... id take a PC and work for you
here in Brazil a cheap arcade stick is like R$800. i don't play fighting games just cause of that...
now knowing is so cheap to make one i'll try to build my own too... thanks for the idea
you can play fighting games with a controller or get a hitbox, which is the alternative for arcade stick
Dude i wanna be on the show to try to convince reckful for a 30k car!
Fucksfired Draven do it! Make up a bullshit idea then tell him and poki your true intent lol
ahahah shark tank
imagine hearing Poki say she wouldnt spare 5k to someone with a vision when she didnt even do anything to earn them not to mention she is making 7 figures..thank god for her that people make anyone famous even if they havent done anything..
Well, she doesn't owe shit to anyone bro.
Streaming is not nothing. It's pretty hard to do consistently
Okay... why don’t you go do since you have to do nothing to make 7 figures and why don’t you go send this guy a equivalent percentage of 5k in terms of how much money you have. The amount self importance you have is nauseating
@@butchrodgers9559 w/e bro im not gonna waste more time explaining if u have the brains figure it out urself cya
its really cool, that he did this but who tf would pay 80$ for this wooden controller instead of a 150$ one thats nice and garanteed
Gaetan Tanguay Price is a big difference for a lot of people in developing countries.
If he really wants to get noticed quickly, he should sell them really cheap, let's say 30. He could always raise the price a bit if his brand gets traction. Already trying to make a 65 profit margin/unit when your costs are only 15 as a one man, completely new and unprofessional 'business' is ridiculous.
Jesus yeah that controller looks like it would break VERY easily. $65 is waaaaayyyyyy too much
@@TechnoBro999 he made it from an old cabnet , you guys dont know sense , he said he'd buy wood or refurbish old wood and make it look better if he was to sell them, he also had a drill as his only tool and cut a board of wood in half with it. these are clearly proto-types that could be improved with capital which reckful/pokemane would provide, dude has no job is 22 and plays games all day and said he'd rather make controllers all day if he was making profit from it. reckful also found you can buy non name brands for cheap then 150 and even said selling for 40 or 50$ is till a profit and he'd make his 10k in less than 6months .
40% for 10.000$ Its not even realistic. LUL
This is such a good peak into buisness
