Is there a way to get the VIN number out of the computer. The truck is a 2007 changeover year and the VIN has info that I need. The truck and all inf is gone.
Exactly how I did the swap in my 1ton obs!! Bought the truck on Wednesday and on Saturday I was driving it!! People over think this part of the swap. Great vid as always!! Thx for spreading the LS knowledge!!!

Oh my GOD!!! You are so funny!!! In the rear bumper. Yea I know people that are like that. I thank you. You have made this so simple and will have saved me sooooo much money. I was lookin at the Fueltech FT600 for my 03 crown Vic LS swap and yea I don't need to spend the $2400 bucks for the Puter and another $1800 for the dedicated wiring harness. I just wanna do burnouts and go get ice cream. I don't mind buying tires. I work at the Goodyear tire plant. I get a discount. I'm not doing No Prep racing or any of that stuff. I'm not tuning my car for every time I get in it..... I just wanna drive my beater and have fun. I'm gonna try to get a 6.0L to swap so I can get the most power out of it without the rough lobing. I like a smooth idle. And if it doesn't do a nice burnout then I can watch another turbo video from you. I thank you very much. You have opened my eyes to the dumb sh*t out there that they tell you you need and you don't.

I had just said when you add up if you are buying a harness then the holly starts looking compelling because you also get a wide band for tuneing if you are going to do a cam or anything other than just the swap I mean I already have HP tuners and can do everything with a stock harness but I remember you got a harness from alibaba why did you do that
I'm not saying anyone should not use the factory harness I'm just saying if you don't have one and are going to need to get one and pay for tuneing the Terminator looks like a decent deal I'm not saying there are not cheaper ways or that it's necessary but I'm not saying there is no reason to get one
Hey what’s the guys name that does the torque converters? Ryan jans? Is that how it is spelled? I need a higher stall low budget torque Converter for a 4l80.. just let me know.. thanks
JR how you doing? Been a few days since last video. Hope all is well. Quick question: we changed tune to run one fan, but which pin will send signal for relay ? Or should just wire up both pins? ‘03 harness P59
I guess I'm still confused. So if you do the wiring harness like this it will start up and run? No sending the ECU off for programing? Also I have a gen 4 ly6 I'm trying to accomplish this with.
Thanks for this video. I know it was mostly focused on the harness, but 1 question... Will this make it run without programming VATS out of the PCM? I had the whole donor vehicle that already had the 30 minute security relearn/bypass done with the two wires from the Passlock sensor twisted together, so i snagged the BCM, hooked up the BCM powers and grounds, 2 wires to the passlock sensor still twisted together and the Yellow security wire going the PCM. It runs laying on the ground, no flashing PCM. Just wondering if I can make it run without the BCM (just to free up some more wiring) and no PCM/VATS programming.
@@TheDrivewayEngineer Thanks for the quick reply. My VATS isn't exactly bypassed though, the BCM has just been fooled that the Signal from the Passlock sensor is zero resistance. So the BCM still sends the PCM a "Run signal" on the yellow data wire. Or maybe thats a "Kill" signal and if the PCM never sees it and never communicates with BCM it will run fine? I'll try it tonight. To be more clear, lets pretend that i had NOT messed with the BCM, passlock sensor and 30 minute relearn deal from my donor. If anyone else does exactly what you show in this video with a stock harness and stock PCM, it will run? No need to flash at all?

I thinned down my harness for my '91 caprice swap and not going to lie, I wish I hadnt. This would have been way easier

Yep

The wiring and PCM programming are totally separate

You don't need the BCM for anything.
If you've already bypassed the VATs, it should continue to run.
@@TheDrivewayEngineer Thanks for the quick reply. My VATS isn't exactly bypassed though, the BCM has just been fooled that the Signal from the Passlock sensor is zero resistance. VATs has to be deleted, and I have videos on how to do it for fifty bucks.
So if you do this you don't have to reflash pcm?
Wiring has nothing to do with the antitheft at all
Unless it’s drive by wire then grab tac module and gas pedal. But not much more to do than that.
Will this work for 4.3 5 speed to 6.0 t-56? 2005 single Silverado?
It'll work for anything you want to run a 99-06 truck engine in.
