- Here it is! Even though the mix itself is very much an early 80’s vibe, this is a tribute to all the weird and strange creatures of 1980's Doctor Who.
Apologies for the jankiness of the first clip, I'm not sure why that happened - but it fit perfectly with the opening.
Also, a little Easter egg for anyone familiar with the Wilhelm scream. Apologies for its loudness, it didn’t seem that loud until the video had rendered and I honestly didn’t want to render the whole thing again with the volume adjusted on a single clip.
I may take a break for a while, as this clip took several weeks longer to produce - making music videos is a taxing process! The video took many hours to create.
But I have a few ideas of what to work on next. So stay tuned!
In the meantime, enjoy!

The way you did the iconic earth shot at the start is just 👌👌👌👌👌👌
This is INSANE! Keep these coming. Perhaps you could do the Doctors theme from Series 1?
The Wilhelm scream completes the Myrka scene from Warriors of the Deep.
YOOO LETS GO!!!
WE DEFEATING FENRIC WITH THIS ONE!🗣️🗣️🔥🔥💯💯
"Doctor! Pity me!"
"FEAR ME!"
"Wha... what?"
"Tell this to your gods when they punish you, when they stretch you on the neutron rack: I'm still here."
"But you...?! You're one... little... man!"
"No, not a man. Not a human being. I am a complex space-time event. I am Lord President of Gallifrey. The Traveller from Beyond Time. I am the Sandman! The Oncoming Storm! I am the Ka Faraq Gatri; Destroyer of Worlds! And sometimes... only sometimes, I. Am. Your. Worst. Nightmare! ...I am the Doctor, and I take care of my friends."
If "Afterlife" was an actual Seventh Doctor serial from his era, I can definitely imagine Keff McCulloch using something like your work here in that scene. 10/10 effort as always!
That’s a brilliant line. Is it from a novel? Or big finish?
@@hellsw0rth It’s from the Big Finish audio Afterlife (7th Doctor, Ace and Hex)

That speech was loaded with so much hubris that The Doctor’s practically daring fate to give him his comeuppance . It reminds me of his speech in The Waters of Mars though this it seems it’s a bit more earned from what I can tell considering the Doctor is apparently trying to protect his friends here.
Though I guess he gets his ‘comeuppance’ by alienating all his friends and dying of a very humbling death.
Strange creatures, indeed
Great work mate, love how you included the coolers monsters like The Mara and Fenric 😎
They’re both very complex monsters, I hope they come back some day!
The preview got me so excited for this and you delivered to my excitement. Thanks.
*Interviewer* [talkling to Steven Spielberg] : *Your Father* was *A Computer Programmer; Your Mother* taught *Music;*
The Mothership lands -- *Q. : HOW Do They COMMUNICATE?*
Steven Spielberg : [ Looks *absolutely ASTONISHED* -- ] ......That never *occurred to Me,* before....!
Love this! Its very early 80s though... I'd love to hear a version that's full on McCoy era! The Keff Remembrance or Ayres Fenric vibes.
It is very early 80s. And I was just going to do early 80s monsters but that opening shot from Remembrance just fit the beginning of the track so perfectly. Could do a late 80s style one eventually!
I'm imagining this theme playing during Earthshock towards the end 😢 #ripadric
Great work, thanks!
I love you!
This is amazing.
man, imagine this playing in caves of androzani when fives walking through the mudfields about to die. pure fire.
This is great !!
Love this!
Great vid
At 2:49 did that stuntman really just leap off the cliff like that? I hope there was a pretty huge crashmat underneath!
Sounds awesome, slightly preferable to the 70,s version. I’d love you to tackle the soundtrack to more than 30 years in the Tardis by Mark Ayres, it’s available on UA-cam or in the photo gallery section of the DVD, it’s the classic Who equivalent to all the strange strange creatures.
Brilliant work ❤❤
It’s a good idea. I used to have that on VHS but I’ll have a look for it among my blurays and dvds.
@@hellsw0rth not seen it on Blu-ray yet, but it’s on dvd in the Shada box set, or the music is on UA-cam, and the trailer for the documentary is on here too.
How To Make Time Travel Heaven
1. Invent time travel machine.
2. Travel to 22nd century.
3. Invent a machine that can change probability use it to make probability certain that time travel is heaven is real forever.
Perfect
First clip: Is it possible it was deinterlaced in the wrong field order? At any rate, quality work.
The Wilhelm Scream got a good chuckle out of me.
Glad someone got a chuckle! And yes it’s possible the codec my video editing software is different to the one used in media player, and it messed up the deinterlacing.
Would love some new who Dalek music in Genesis style
Ooh that’s an interesting idea. I did a generic retro remix of one of Murray Gold’s Dalek tracks recently but I do like this idea.
@@hellsw0rth ooh is that on UA-cam?
Next retro 80s remix, Dream of a Normal Death with all the people who died throught classic Who (a la Journey's End)
That’s a really good idea. Was thinking of doing this for the Long Song, but that’s also a great option.
banger
You should have included JNT himself
Was thinking of adding Michael Grade tbh
'Promosm'
Did you just play a midi through an FM chip in Foobar
No I didn’t. I don’t know what foobar or FM chips are sorry. I use a combination of music software to compile the music over several weeks.
