Jonsereds 520SP carburetor rebuild, pull start fix, and new problem.

Part two of my repair of the Jonsereds 520SP chainsaw. In this video, I get the carbuetor rebuilt and installed, clean out the gas tank, and fix the pull starter, but now the oil pump looks like it needs some attention.

I have the same saw. Recently pulled the carb also, but salvaged the gaskets. The whole carb sitting over night in Yamaha carb dip made that possible…gaskets don’t stick. This dip doesn’t hurt rubber btw.

Do it not forget the needle bearing inside of the clutch , more importent than users think it over...

U dont need to take the screen out to tight up the startstring. Its a little cut in the side of the "wheel" drag the rope out a lap or 2 and then pull upp like a "loop" and then u can spin upp the wheel some laps intill the spring is tighten up and the rope goes in properly. Hope u understand my bad English 😅

Not sure if an exact match but the ryobi and Walmart black max saws are clones of old jonsered /homelite saws but with Honda engines.
I got 2 Walmart black max 50cc 3 yr warranty during 2022 Thanksgiving sales $100 each, regular msrp $200. knowing were clones of proven design with Honda engines. And way more cost effective than trying get oem parts for old saws.

You have much to understand of cleaning of chansaw...its importent of both sides of the sylinder cooling and lube of chain and chaingard..
