Genius idea, patent it. With the popularity of raised beds and urban gardening you'll surely sell a ton of these. I'll take 6 of them!
You invent the most ingenious and simple to make help aids. Fabulous idea.
Thank you for watching
Looks good. Next season you can start the panel on the bed itself. Gives you a grid to plant the corn and you won’t have to worry about feeding through. Just slowly move up as they grow.
Very true
Also, you might want to consider keeping the panels above the ears giving the stalks more support from stormy conditions as the heavy ears mature.
Such a good idea with the panels for corn support and now that you made it adjustable. Awesome
Thanks 👍
That’s a fantastic idea. Love your welding and metal fabrication videos.
Glad you like them!
That is a great idea for a corn support in a smaller garden!
I love it!
you know what would be fun, is if you went full "over do is what I do" and rigged up a bunch of all thread at each corner, welded to a nut on each of those tube pieces, then with the help of some sprockets, bike chain, and hand crank you could user your impact to raise and lower the whole panel as one to any height you need lol. I know the value isnt there for it, but man what a cool project it could be. Like a big ole santa maria grill.
Oh boy, that is overdo 😬
@@TKCL hah, right.
The Kelley's Country Life, Subscribed because your videos always make me smile!
Thank you for watching and the support
Great idea and improvement, Andrew. I've never seen you work that fast! Lol!
I got a lot of projects and need to get after it 🤣
Start your hog panels at the bottom... (raised bed level), then raise them a bit as the corn grows.
That's good. I was thinking about raising the grid to hold the corn and you just solve the problem 👍
Nice addition to the raised beds.
I think so too!
Very smart idea
It’s always a great day to watch a video
Thank you for watching
Great idea all the way around.
Glad you think so!
Uno? That worked really well👍
Congratulations 😭😫..... Dang commercials 😫😫😫
You got it!
Hi, Andrew! I love your invention. Just think of all the Silver Queen corn you will be protecting.
I hope we get a good harvest this year.
I like what you did here, and it should last for many seasons. I took an easier route by purchasing Canagrow trellis netting. It is designed for cannabis plants, but it works great for corn.
Pure genius!
Thank you for watching
I'm sure it will work wonderfully:))
Simple and easy.
Yes, thanks
What a great idea!
Thank you for watching
Man, one year I got so aggravated with the corn blowing over that I did a Florida weave kind of set up onmy corn. I thought I was a little bit mental for doing that because I never seen or heard of anybody running support for their corn. it did work out OK and your set up. Looks like it should work fine also. thanks for the video and for making me feel less mental 👍🏻
Lol I've been there myself.
The Thinker Tinkerer back at it again! I love it.
My mind never rests
@@TKCL That is one of the reasons I am a fan of your channel. Good stuff my friend!
Looking good, how are the maters?? Looks like that Spinach worked for the T-post Driver, LOL
i think i may have started a trend! then it was Mr. jimmy then you! 👍
Sadly one did not survive shipping, the other two are getting settled in. Thanks again!
That is brilliant Andrew. Now the only thing you have to do is make 25 of them for me. 😂
Lol too many projects
Great idea!
Thanks
Brilliant! 💪
Thank you
Great video. 😊
Thanks for watching
Hey Bro, I see you using those cattle panels for projects, but you can get an 8’x20’ sheet of 10ga wire mat like they use for concrete reinforcement for less than 30.00. Spray some galvalume on if you don’t want it to rust
Wonder where I can buy that?
Plant the seed deeper. Like 2 1/2".
Good idea, love stock/cattle panels, so many uses.
Great solution Andrew. For someone who wants to copy your idea but doesn't weld might I recommend a product called WEDGE-LOC. A small USA made company.
Andrew do you think the rebar is strong enough? I believe you said this is silver queen corn??? YUM. Thank you Andrew Ed in Partlow Virginia
Plenty strong enough
Knee high by the 4th of ... May? Wow
Sooner it appears
Where can I buy those supports? If you don't sell them you should. I have a fresh $20 bill in my pocket right now, let me put my order in for 10.
I made them, currently too many projects for building them for sale.
Im new here 🙋🏽♂️
😂 ... thats a lie
@@astikennel 😇😇😇
Not! Lol
😂
hello Mr. New Here im also New! just not here lol!
Curious as to why you did not use t post Insulators?
They hold wire, not heavy and thick panels.
I am a farming dummy but curious, how do farms with giant fields of corn not have the same problem with storms knocking the corn down?
Plant thick, heal the corn for more root structure and support, irrigate and fertilize. Hard to do some of that in loose compost.
What is the area of your fenced garden?
30x50 I believe
Great idea...can't wait to see it do it's job.
54th viewer! LOL
Got it!
well welcome 54th viwer! glad you could make it.
ive got your CB handle! Mr. Handy Man! cause the Handy Man can!
Yeah! 🤣
I saw the left over section of propane tank with a rod though one end. Making a large open fire cooker for large meat?
Rod is the tank level meter, it's coming out. Tank will look quite different than what you seen.
Looks like that'll work well, hopefully you make enough corn you can grind your own corn mill.
Sweet Adrew,
I think I mentioned something like this when You 1st put the 1st one together.
Thanks Much...
Hi Andrew, you sure come up with fantastic ideas👍👍👍. Love your idea for the corn. 👍👍❤️❤️🇨🇦
Thanks
Great idea. Something to think about maybe make the bolt a tee handle so you don't need to go back to the shop for your power tools. To adjust the panel.
I was concerned about the torque I can add that way. I don't want the panels to drop.
I’m new here great Video.
Sure you are 😉
