this sounds amazing on headphones!! was in Asheville for a few days just after this aired with my family ... wished you guys were open for a tour, but did manage to get my son to snap a pic of me on my 47th b'day outside of your HQ like the teenage fanboy/dork I not so secretly am. snagged the demo of function from the Moog store too while I was visiting them, so they might need a new copy... paid for of course.
What a patch! Super organic sounding. Not sure I understood it. Would love to try and recreate in VCVRack. My physical modular rack is too small to recreate.
The Overtones and Multiply of the 0-Coast are in the same waveshaping realm as the Wavefolded outs of the XPO, but the 0-Coast has no equivalent filter for pinging to emulate the QPAS's contribution here
You could try using the Final output for your audio source, turning on Sync and using a VCO A waveform to pan the signal in X-PAN. That'd be my first thought, and see where it takes you :)
This is one thing I find that the Make Noise modules excel at. Something akin to Tangerine Dream Live 1973 space explorations. Add a phased string synth drone and some organ. Lovely.
Rather unique or rudimentary use of Modules in order to achieve this specific Soundscape Idea. However, the more you were patching, the more interesting and informative this stark Sound Piece became... thank you for opening my ears more and showing me something new ~💡🎶🎛👏🏽💥❗️
This is actually one of my favorite patching techniques, but you make it sound like I am hearing it for the first time. What an amazing patch!
You're a wellspring of ideas. I'm constantly astonished with what you come up with. Very nice! 👍
Thanks for watching!
you aint kidding
I love the way to fm the qpas by itself.
Great video, thx
amazingly smooth sounds.. big up!
Glad you enjoyed!!
Excellent sound design!
Thanks!
Wow very surreal and haunting patching. Thanks you never disappoint.
Thanks for watching!
Inspired. Thanks for another great video.
Thanks for watching!!
Reminds me a bit of the kind of stuff that Rrose does. Nice!

Glad to hear it!! Thanks for watching
This is going straight into my sampler 🤗
yeah, great vid
Sounds like a fun time! Share results here if you want to :)
Right on
Amazing!
Thanks!
Great patch! 🖤
Thank you!
Are there any intentions of making another synth for the desktop easel? I would love to add more MN to my setup but modular still eludes my wallet 😢
5:35 sounds like some crazy alien insect creature. Amazing sound design
totally. we don't know if or when we will make contact with alien creatures, but we now kow what they will sound like.
I recommend you check out, if not already familiar, the two volumes of Rashad Becker's "Traditional Music of Notional Species"
I just bought a new oscilloscope to use with my 0-Coast, Strega, and 0-Control. Really cool sounds!
Happy patching!
I love this weird shit. I acknowledge this stuff is expensive, but your job title includes exploration. Thank you for sharing your findings.
🕺

I LOVE this. a box like Strega with these type tones as a base. How close to this can you get with 0-Coast?
The Overtones and Multiply of the 0-Coast are in the same waveshaping realm as the Wavefolded outs of the XPO, but the 0-Coast has no equivalent filter for pinging to emulate the QPAS's contribution here
QPAS also work great getting those tones from VCAs patched into itself in the High Pass out!! Really organic "Rythms made of dust"
Good way to put it!!
@MAKENOISE Love this! How close can I get to this stereo lushness with a DPO w/ QPAS vs an XPO w/ QPAS? Would an X-PAN make a difference?
You could try using the Final output for your audio source, turning on Sync and using a VCO A waveform to pan the signal in X-PAN. That'd be my first thought, and see where it takes you :)
Amazing stuff. This may have to find its way into my Morphagene!
Happy patching!
Super cool!
Thanks!

“Zeit” is a longtime fave! 🌌
@@MAKEN0ISEMUSIC Oh yes.... a true classic.
Next level filter pinging! At LFO rates the XPO gets kind of a pseudo random gate sequencer. There is much more to explore.
Thanks for watching!
Totally inspiring!
Glad you enjoyed!!
Nice chirps
Thank you!
This is great stuff, but I could listen to Walker talk about anything.
That’s a relief… because I usually do! 😛 thanx for watching!! ⚡️🎶⚡️
