what would be really nice is a review/discussion of what kinds of SAM inputs make for better array captures.... slow drones? drums? noise? flutes? whatever, ...I can experiment myself but so far the ones I've done have been sort of so-so ...and a bit of a gripe is that to see what array is currently in place you have to hit that shift shift combo 16 times while watching the LEDS ....
Thanks for this. Very informative and excellent examples. One thing I’m not understanding is how are you using the Function envelopes with it without a VCA?
Don’t need a VCA to make use of Function. They are just function generators. Could plug them straight into any modulation destination. But if you do want to use them as envelopes in the conventional sense, the Spectraphon has built-in pseudo ‘VCA’s which are the Partials controls. They are not strictly VCAs but they have the same effect.
Wow, what a... I don't have the words haha. I looove Make noise products, you know but I really do not know wich one I could start with, could you help me a bit pleease ? Basically, I'm a fan of drum'n'bass, trip hop, and almost BIG SOUND, AND WEIRD MAD STRANGE SOUND... Thank you man Alex ✌🏼
I have Spectraphon and DPO. If I want to apply vibrato I use the exp FM input at my DPO. Since the Spectraphon doesn’t feature an external FM input - how to apply vibrato to OSC1 or OSC2?
Thank you, Ryan, for all your great presentations and articles!
The tones you are massaging out of this module sound absolutely nuts 🔥
Oh the GAS is so strong on this one! Cannot resist... Thanks for a great demo!!
Definitely the Best Representation of Spectraphone`s Possibilities
Great Job PC
TY for showing how to capture the 'array'. That was a missing piece. Fabulous module!
A very competent review, especially compared to some of the other ones out there. Well done!
killer patches towards the end there
ace.

This module is a Dune 2: Battle for Arrakis soundtrack remake waiting to happen. 👌

Mix an attenuated LFO with your CV sequence and apply the result to the v/oct input of the Spectraphon
Lovely
A lot of these sounds remind me of my K5000S and the soundtrack to the game 720°.
👍👍👍
Time to save up my nickles!
Super disappointed to find out there's no SAD mode.
