Hi there, the structure of the grains is the most important thing. Straight and evenly spaced out is what you are looking for. So the number of grains becomes secondary. As long as they are between 5/6 and 14/15, you will be fine.

Hi there, you need to take a number of variables into account when it comes to performance. These include the pressing and finishing as well as the grain structure of the bat. The better the grain structure, the higher chance you have of getting a better performing bat. But the other factors are critical as well.

Hi Sarisarjam, the number of grains is not the most important thing. You want a bat which has straight and evenly spaced out grains. You can find top grade bats which only have 7 or 8 grains and lower grade bats with 13 or 14 grains. Its how well the grains are structured and how well the bat has been pressed which is key.

i wouldnt worry too much about it. think about it as though you're playing a video game and you have a common item, but you can increase your personal stats to improve your overall stats, then you can upgrade
