The handle is made from bamboo glued together and shaped and the black lines in the handle can be either cork or a type of rubber used to soften the impact on the hands when hitting the ball and to give the bat a bit of space to bend and not snap... the main part of the bat is a type of wood called English Willow. It is the best type of wood to take constant impacts from a hard cricket ball without breaking. In Us dollars a top of the line cricket bat can go for +- $600 depending on the grade of English Willow that is used to make it...

Also the reason why it's so expensive, which for the record isnt even that crazy expensive is because it's made of willow wood and willow wood can only be used to make cricket bats and the bat is also two pieces before its made so that kinda adds the value?

Great bowl to start the video
If you guys first looked on how a cricket bat is made you would know that it is made from English Willow wood and they cut the tree into a third of it’s diameter. They make the handle and the face of the bat separately then they glue them together, then they use a machine that spins the whole bat around really fast and that is how that put the string on the handle. Then they cut the face of the bat with a very specific saw to make all the different bows and archers then they stick on the stickers to brand the bat. And if it is a size bat for a young kid they would put a layer of plastic over the face of the bat, just to protect it from getting wet because when you are young you don’t always take care of everything you own, and if the wood gets wet the bat is absolutely destroyed and would not be able to play with.
