- "Lying and Stealing" is set in Los Angeles, a city where perception is often more important than reality. This is the world that Ivan (Theo James) lives in -- the poseurs and the social climbers, the wannabes and the rich who flaunt their wealth because they too want to remake themselves. Ivan's problem is that he's in so deep he may never get out of the devil's bargain he made with a vain and sadistic crime boss. That is until he meets Elyse (Emily Ratajkowski), an actress and a con-woman with her own chaotic past she wants to escape from. Together, they team up to pull off the ultimate con/heist which won't make them rich, but will hopefully set them free.

Even just based of this interview and clips, I really wanna see it, I feel like Theo was set up to be a massive star, but didn't make satisfying movies or did TV guest spots, but now he's back yaaaaaaaayyy, He's such an under-used underrated actor

Miss Ratajkowski is pretty intelligent. And what do I read here or elsewhere? That she's boring for it. You don't measure anyone by being harsh and talkative. Or whether she gets roles because of her looks. This is sexist or stigmatic otherwise. Grow up, people.
Update: after her comments regarding a pic spoofing on her postures and her comment on hating Taylor Swift means you're a misogynist, is a huge letdown for her. Not too bright of a notion. Too bad.

She keeps getting roles 😂 how? Not just her bad acting, but the films tank financially. Rosamund Pike has the great line to describe Ratajkowski in Gone Girl (you know the one) so I’d think in this climate in Hollywood she couldn’t use those to get jobs with sleazy directors

It would be great if he decided to do a season 2. I think he was perfect for the part along with Rose Williams. Seems like he has lost interest In more than just Sanditon. What's going on.
He probably couldn’t reveal too much at the time...and since he was a producer on the show as well who knows how much he was allowed to reveal and it seems by what he said here they were still shooting or in post production. Although, it wasn’t long after this interview that the show premiered in the UK. Still, no US promo had been done yet.

k I guess this is a ok movie but Theo and Shailene were literally M A D E for each other I know they begun falling for each other during divergent not just in the movie but in real life too. I don't know what happened to them but I really hope the start doing more things with each other !! I love them so much (not really a fan of this movie though)
I think they're both considerate enough to think of theo's gf, so they decided to stop seeing each other nor communicate after allegiant. But still hope they'd have a reunion or somethin😭 miss em sm😭
