Also Cannonier did NOT get dominated by Izzy lmao. If Sean is a jab merchant, what does that make Izzy? Leg kick and run merchant? He’s lost 2 of his last 3 fights and shouldve lost to Whittaker in the 2nd fight too Sean always had the tools to beat Izzy. Constant pressure, never over-extends or lunges, never resets, with zero telegraphing on his hands. It was always going to be hard for Izzy to beat him in the way he’s beaten past opponents.
@@ptown7205 Of course, but I think a lot of people slept on Sean, and well evidently that is actually the case. The undermining and shit talking from people has been super odd to me. Sean had the exact style to counter Izzy's from everything we've seen so far. I expected Izzy to adapt, but Izzy's fight IQ has always been questionable as well. He only ever has success when his opponents over extend themselves and play into his game, otherwise he's comfortable just standing there with guys for 25 minutes while adding leg kicks and running. Sean doesn't over extend himself and never resets himself, he's the most relentless pressure fighter at MW... He was never going to let Izzy get to work.
