I was able to rake open the backup lock in less than 10 seconds. Almost faster than using the key itself.
This should only be used if you have another method to lock up your firearm if you're not going to be home for an extended period of time. This will keep your kids out, but if someone broke in, and wanted your gun, they could get it very quickly with this low-skill attack.
