Low Approaches and Crosswinds

Today's lesson involved flying "1 foot off the runway" at Lincoln (KLHM), to get a better sight picture for soft field take off and landing technique. Once back at Auburn (KAUN), there was an almost perfect 7kt crosswind from 130º to make the landing a challenge!

We climbed to 3500’ for a few minutes before descending to Lincoln pattern altitude of 1100’.
