Windows open AND rear window rolled up and you will not see the soft top blow away.
Emissions … Stock carburetor tuned lean and I bet you will pass emissions.
The handle … Man I like your creative thinking!
Please use washers and stainless bolts & nuts for the jerrycan.
#3 Philips - If you keep’em you have to grease the screw so it doesn’t get stuck. Or better, use hex bolts AND grease.

Hey thanks David, I'm not sure if I should rebuild this Weber or try to get a stock one from my friend and rebuild it, then after I pass put the Weber back on... Lol. I'm gonna check the jetting on this Weber. If it's good then I'll prob have to swap it.

If that tailgate handle ever fails looks like the square opening could accept a long ratchet wrench extension heated up and bent over.

I have stock setup 1.3l passes like a champ. I live in SD california.
Install a new converter and it should pass. Then take it off until next time lol

That was one of the first things I did cuz that's always worked in the past but it still failed. I insured it as a classic so I got around the emissions bs.

I ended up getting it insured through Hagerty and registering it as a classic so I got around the emissions crap.

How much was the windshield for everything?

Insurance paid for it but on the invoice it was $170 for the glass, $22.50 for Adhesive Nags (whatever that is), and $129.50 for the weatherstrip (seems like a rip off!) I'm sure you can get the weatherstripping much cheaper, and you don't need the nags, just the glass and seal.
