3 Things Indian youth is wasting money on | Our old generations was better with money than us.

  • 2020 me Punjab ke iss 17 saal ke ladke ko uske parents ne zabardasti ek scooter repair shop me kaam pe laga diya. And iska reason janke aap hairaan reh jayenge. Darasal iss ladke ne apne maa baap se chupakar unke bank account se 16 lakh rupaye PUBG khelne par uda diye, and ye paise uske parents ne apni treatment ke liye save kiye the. Aur agar aap soch rahe hai ki chalo ye toh sirf ek nadaan teenager hai and isko paiso ki value nahi pata, toh aap galat hai.
    Abhi kuch hi din pehle, Kolkata me 23 saal ke ek engineer ne bridge se kud kar suicide karne ki koshish ki kyunki usne apne 30 lakh rupaye cryptocurrency me invest karke gawa diye the.And iss 30 lakh rupaye ko arrange karne ke liye usne apni cheezein tak girwi rakh di thi and saath hi kayi loans bhi le rakhe the, jise wo chuka nahi paa raha tha. India me hume aise bahut se examples mil jayenge jisme hamari young generation apne paise barbad kar rahi hai.
    Mai aapko yesab isliye bata raha hu kyu ki jaha ek taraf jaha India ki aadhi population, yani 70 crore log, 25 saal ke aaspaas ki age ke hai, aur India ko ek superpower banane ka potential rakhte hai, wahi dusri taraf yahi young population paison ke mamle me smart nahi hai.
    In fact, older generation ke muqable, hamari younger generation gareeb hote jaa rahi hai aur ye India ke future ke liye bahut bada khatra hai.
    But isse pehle ki hum ye jaane ki hamari young generation kyu aur kaise apne paise gawa rahi hai, hamare liye ye janna zaruri hai ki kaise older generations, yani ki hamare maa baap, dada dadi etc, paiso ke mamle me hamse kaafi better hai.
    See video to know the complete case.

    I realised social media is doing problems, so I deleted Instagram and Facebook.
    And I got so much mental relief.
    Social media is designed in such a way that even if you do meditation, there's high chances you'll get attracted to it .
    So , set your intentions of every use and stay away from Instagram and Facebook

    Best way to save money is to use cash rather than paying by UPI or credit cards. When you pay a physical currency you start to realise whether the amount you are paying is justified or not.

    • @nerisalobo
      @nerisalobo 9 місяців тому

      Not true, I end up spending more when I have cash in hand and end up getting toffees in return. Also we are aiming for a cashless economy so cash must go away. Also tracking expenses with UPI is easier compared to cash and with M-pass book it had become even more easier.

    1. The major issue with millennials including me, is the comparison we start to do with each other and try to match the other person. This leads to unnecessary expenses.
    2. I reduced my exposure to social media, and obviously analysis found put I am saving around 5000 rupees per month
    3. Also, I have started to use digital payments in place of physical payments. It allows me to track the expenditure in a better manner. I have a maximum spending limit on per day basis and if I end up spending more, I punish myself various manners. Of I spend less, I transfer it immediately to my other account (excess savings account).
    4. I had a coffee everyday at CCD before office. I stopped that too and have ended up saving atleast 3000 per month. I buy coffee on road side shop while commuting.
    5. I use credit cards wherever possible. However, immediately after a purchase using Credit card, I transfer an equal amount to a savings account which I call Credit card payment account. So, on due date I always have an amount equal to bill due in this special credit card account.

      physical payment is better than digital payment because in physical payment we can bargain with the shopkeeper while in the digital one the shopkeeper deducts the actual price. My mom is expert in bargaining skill and i have learnt so much from my mom. I want my wife to be best in money management like my mom is.

There is no point saving money or investing for 50 above age group if their children are settled because above 50 age you have to life your life to the fullest for next 15-20 years

    sadly speaking, this case is not only with the new generation but even with those who are in their 35's or 40's rn. A relative of mine spent no money on their children's education but spoiled them with expensive clothes, cars, etc. Clothes especially are a huge problem now because there are millions of children who don't get to wear clothes whereas the rich just buy a new outfit for any event and throw it after usage.

    While i have listened to and heard of this type of content many times, I always wonder who are these people who spend more than they earn? In my life, the ones whom i regularly interact with are all financially smart which stems from the financial education imparted by our seniors. I wonder how people go overboard in spending when jobs are uncertain in these current times. Hope people realise that and save adequately for children education and retirement.
    Save, Invest and then spend. Be less greedy. Reduce ones wants.

    • @shilarakesh
      @shilarakesh Рік тому

      Let me explain.
      1) Mobile nahin the but land line and phones bills were expensive then compared to earnings.
      2) Netflix nahin tha. Cable cost a decent amount. BTW Netflix is not that expensive.
      3) movie tickets were reasonable then. It has gone up with cost of inflation. One can watch as many movies on a big screen TV free now.
      4) Junk food was not consumed to avoid medical costs. Gluttony was not practised by the older generation.
      The younger generation only think of NOW and live with the motto of FOMO.
