I change soap scents a bit (like once or twice a month) but Theda's never really seemed to care tbh 😂 to be fair, we never have changed laundry detergent or deodorant so maybe he smells them and knows its still me? or maybe he just doesn't care idk, but its certainly cool to see in practice!
They at least have preferences and the ability to trust. We are always learning more about animals, so maybe the ability to love will become normal in captive reptiles one day.

Well, it's more of a trust thing than love. Still, I'm not entirely sure that love isn't just the most elevated form of trust.
