- A couple of weeks back a few of us were lucky enough to be invited to “bond” for a few hours with this masterpiece.
This locally manufactured military rifle is a work of art. I’m biased of course, but I really appreciate good engineering and this thing is properly made.
14.5x114 throws 1000grains (about) at 1000m/s (maybe a bit over)
For those that have never fired a large caliber rifle, think “Thors hammer”
For perspective, this has about the same energy at 1000m as a .50 has at the muzzle.
It’s hands down, the single most violent thing I’ve ever pulled a trigger on.
Watch the frames at the end of the video.
It’s a multi purpose tool. Clears your sinuses while trimming your hair with fire, all while lighting two braais (one on each side)
Jokes aside. It’s a seriously impressive piece of kit.
Gives me a bit of hope frankly, that this capability still exists in the country.
Now the only problem is, how do I get to own one ?!?!?
Its FUKKIN BEAUTIFUL MAN 🤙
Anything over 0.51 caliber in this country requires a Destructive Devices license, if I recall correctly.
Otherwise this'd be pretty cool.
Guaranteed to clear your sinuses and deviate your septum! Nice piece of artillery.
Chuckling at the thought of renting it out for nose jobs.
Incredible.
Too bad they're so rare.
I want one! that is my Red Rider BB gun
Yes. What’s the make & manuf. of that rifle

Truvelo cms anti material rifle chambered in 14.5x114mm.
Those things have almost TWICE the power of a .50 BMG ! 🥵
