To truly test it, the titanium needs to "not move" so it can absorb the entire force of the impact. Letting it fly back 30 yards from initial contact gives inaccurate results.

I worked as a aerospace machinist for many years and I can tell Titanium is one of the most difficult materials to machine. Not the most difficult however. But you have to watch it close, if you see just one spark the cutting insert is done and the machine is about crash.

Violet Canzonetti allow me to rephrase! It dissipates the energy buy allowing the target to move in the direction the projectile is traveling, thus minimizing the penetration! Or not.
Re: No bulging on the back of the target. Titanium tends to burn. You can see a lot of sparks when the 20mm round hits. So it may be that the energy of the hit goes into the burning of the Titanium on the front of the target instead of deforming the metal as you would expect on a steel target.

Edwin Sarkissian the best gun channel

Titanium - well this explains how RoboCop survived so many hits
Znam da si udata
Legit, and RoboCop had angled armor. So even a slight angle would add just that much more to defeat
Terminator was titanium as well plus other unknown elements
Robo had a thin lamination of titanium that made him immune to small arms. A 20mm could and did penetrate as fired by ED209’s 20mm auto cannons
A10 would destroy them both :D
That sound in slow motion camera was so horrific. That sound can be used in horror movies.
Yes

Minecraft cave noise that is
90° is so much more satisfying to watch and hear. Also gives us more of an idea as to what and how the rounds work in best case scenarios.
Pure titanium is quite soft. It must be alloyed with other metals to create an alloy resistant to penetration by projectiles.

Exactly, but the strength needed to keep it still should be equal to the amount of strength the bullet hits it, its a little math equation i think
