Finally found a video about this my 97 honda hx climate lighting panel wasnt lit up when i got it. All dark at night lol i see with led doesnt light up the red line.
Hey, it's funny because I've been searching for a video to explain how to do exactly this. This is great. You lost me at the part when you popped off the sides with the flat head. Can you share the form you were following?
i just google led climate how to and it usually pops up. its easier to do then said. the hardest part is taking off the dash and putting it back together.
+Rikki Diesel (Rikki Martinez) I could see that. I took apart my instrument panel cluster thing today to replace those bulbs. It wasn't too bad. This is looking like a weekend project though. So many screws!
How did you get the bulbs in? I've been breaking bulbs trying to squeeze them in, finally gave up thinking it was the wrong size, but the link goes to what I got.
+Kam Zeng taking apart the climate controls? I didn't have to take it apart. In the video I show that u just take the bulbs out from the back and plug them in.
Rikki Diesel finally install the two led. I had to literally take the whole thing apart to get access of the climate control. It was time consuming but was possible. The lights are so bright as the DX has little options the upgrades help. Car maybe 21 years old but I am keeping it current with the upgrades! All I need is a actual DOHC V-tech motor with a manual trans!!!
@@digipeeper bro i can't get the bulbs to go in and for me to remove the heater control unit i have to remove the whole bezel and i tried it almost broke
cool do you remeber the size of the bulb you used it and how many do I need total? from both side the bezel on you climate control and the one on the speedometer cluster i guess is called. my bad
Just a cluster bulb. Its dumb I wish they would of just make all the lights 194 cause it over powers the 74 bulbs. So I got one bright ass bulb in the middle of the cluster lol
i have the same problem but mine still don't work. is there perhaps a fuse that i need to replace and if so where will i find that fuse. will it be inside the car and under what name.
I'm sure u can do it to any vehicle...but ever vehicle will need different things. Some are plug in play like this and some will need soldering and resistors.
One is on the right side of the controls and the other is on the left side. They are probably like 3 inches away from each other. Once u get back there u will see

+ProjectVader nice! Lol
Cool. Thanks for pointing out the shortcut. Im planning on changing mine out here real soon and was dreading taking the dash apart.

I literally just pushed them in. Take out the original bulb and compare it side to side...mabey you got sent the wrong size?
I see the results and progress. Is it possible to actually do a video of you taking it apart? That would really help!

@@trualpha you can go underneath and gently unscrew the bulbs(2-3). It’s been a while.
Sweet video can't wait to install one in my civic
Do I have to remove my mirror adjustment panel? Im scared that when i remove that section that when I put it back on none of my buttons will work.
To be honest I'm not sure. Its been a few years since I did this
@@rikkidiesel no worries, i appreciate the reply. Do you think it would mess it up? Im sure there is like a clip for the wiring right
