I'm a vocational educator from Singapore and am indeed struck by CI's beauty just looking at the scenes and people in this series... so much like Singapore frozen in time, back when, I suppose, Singapore was a kinder, gentler place. Teaching at CIDHS must be incredibly meaningful and special. I don't think I can live up to that, but I would love to just be a visitor one day. I can imagine this island to become another Singapore but it would be sad day to see the jungle turns into concrete. I hope the government will preserve its nature as long as possible.
