I'm in the business for 40 years and I can say I'm pretty good doing it by hand , but this thing is awesome!! You set a line out and just follow it and it's cut. Amazing world it becomes. Cheers
Thank you again for opening my eyes wider to my options when I get ready to step up from cutoff wheels. Thank you also for your friendly-face optimism video. I needed one today. :)
I want this on my Hypertherm. I commented in your plasma video that I wanted to invent that exact thing for a plasma. And once again, when I have an idea for an invention, it already exist... well, almost in this case. That wheel on a plasma cutter would help so much to maintain the right speed, especially since that any little roughness on the surface will mess your cut up.
I have the first generation... You have to use a striker.. I use the bevel attachment the most. I got it used 7 years ago...😊 When i use it it all ways draws a crowd
Isn't it amazing how quick the nay sayers arrive! 11 comments in and here they are! Well here's one for the plus side of the equation. Hunter did a very good attempt, better than I could achieve certainly, but that thing just sailed away with the prize! If I was still using a gas axe, that would be on my list . Is it available in UK? Haven't seen anything like it but it would have been very useful when I was an Ag Engineer, so would 240V be a problem? 110 is available via trade txfrmr, but can be solved. What UK price?
@@frankray3934so it is only useable close to a 110v outlet.. ? Well bang goes portable or international use, except for a generator, inverter or long extn cord.. you sure it is 110v ac ? That light gauge cable and connector type looks more like 12v dc
@@andrewcourt5156 the motor is 12v DC. The kit comes with a 110v AC transformer plug in the US. These are sold worldwide so different power adapters would be available internationally.
@@andrewcourt5156 Portable Battery bank with an inverter and you are golden. Light gauge cable ^ higher voltage aka Mains. 12V Fatter Cable. You can also do way deeper cuts with Gas than Plasma.
You can run batteries and a baby inverter for the motor on this but there is a stack of site jobs where you won't want a Compressor/Plasma and a 20-30kVa Gen set to run them. Time saving with less cleanup post cut payback time isn't bad.
This would be great for less experienced workers to be able to produce expert level work. I could see where a welder could make a helper much more productive and not sacrifice quality.
what about cutting pipe? what about cutting a hole? what about cutting a curved edge? not all cuts are straight lines hanging off a table. this is wildly impractical for any kind of real field work.
I’ve used koike quick connects for awhile now and they are quality. However most of their stuff is overpriced mainly this piece. They do however have a good selection of quality tools I’d avoid this at all costs though definitely cool though

yeah, it's super cool, it's almost like having a mini cnc plasma cutter in the field

Our pleasure!
It’s great to see the new welding/ cutting tech tools . This is awesome.
I've seen their plasma tables but this is next level!
Isn't it wild? Such a well tempered tool
Definitely see some potential uses for this but it’s one of those things one would buy when they already have everything else.
Never learned how weld or cut metal, but that is cool.
never too late to start!
Like a simple plasma table, but you don't need 3 phase for thick stuff
Single phase 240v will do 1.25"
Yeah and you can take it into the field which is super handy
It just needs a bubble level or degree indicator. Love OxyAce.
I bet it probably has one, it comes with an insane kit of things we barely dove into

Cut more discs and mark out the designated Lift Arc shuffleboard area in Magnavan's front yard.
This is a great idea!
Can you set the ‘training wheel’ lower or higher to make an angled cut?
I'm sure there's a plethora of cool stuff that can do because we just barely scratched the surface with it.
Yes, you can use the training wheel to make angled cuts, but there is also an angle attachment that comes with it as well.
Cool cutter. May just revolutionize the industry. Stay safe.
Where did you get the idea that your audience may have heard of plasma cutters before oxy? 😂😂😂
Uncle Bob's here!
Oh can you explain the flux core E71T-11 multipass process and can E71T-GS can have multi passes (AWS says no). What happens if it was (multipassed)
ok, nice kit, but how would you cut an L or I beam ~~ Cris H.
Kind of like trading in your horse for a Model T. People aren't going to like that, lol.

Speaking from their sheds with 110V powered Plasmas and wet Air cutting scraggy holes in Car Panels. 🤣
What’s that black cord attached to?
110 volt power
Power for the drive wheel.

Tell us about it, Frank rules
Shop around if you want one. Found them much cheaper.

Yeah, especially if you needed to do work in the field or didn't want to expense a CNC plasma cutter.
1:40 actually you don't melt but burn the metal 😉
🤔
but did you see the auto ignitor?!
$2500, good god
Not cheap but cheaper than a CNC table for sure.
For $2500 you could buy a track torch for straight cuts and some gas to practice your circle cutting 😂😂
Cool tool, but like. Really?
So basically it’s just a over engineered manual track torch
Remember in Aliens when Ripley got into the big forklift exosuit to fight the queen alien? It's kind of like that.
you lost me at the $2250 price tag I will stick with my plasma cutter
Can your toy cut 3-4" Steel? Plasma has it's limits and if you go on site a lot Big Generator, Compressor and a Plasma SUCKS.
It's special use for sure, especially if you're primary doing oxyacetylene

Hole cutting is in the video
Use it where appropriate!
@@arminrichard1836 lol, they cut a 3 inch hole..... try cutting a branch in a 36" pipe dawg

They make much better cnc track torches to cut straight lines holes beveles etc all used in industry over a manual torch if possible
If it was 1000.00 I might consider it but 2500.00 no way.......
me to $2500 stick with plasma torch
