Can I add a .wav file into Logic Pro Library and use it as a replacement as well?

Yes, exactly! You can replace anything with anything using midi

Already feeling I'm asking too much... I'm very newbee about Logic. Can you tell me where should I put my files in? In this case I have a very nice Kick sound .wav file

The replacement process can be done in a live recording situation, or is it a post production process only?

Hi Rod, it’s possible to use samples via triggers in a live situation, but is very common these days to do it in post production.

@@TrackStackStudio its very cool in post production indeed. But I'd love to try it live.

nice how are you micing your overhead, I feel like that's my biggest issue in micing my kit

Thanks! I use a pair of vintage reslo ribbon mics on my overheads.
Whats your set up? happy to give advice on some overhead mic options if that will help?

@@TrackStackStudio yea I have some earthworks SR25mp, my issue is likely placement for the overheads to sound full.

      @@88omarz Great Mics!
You have a few different options with those, I recommend researching
      X Y Configuration
      Glen Johns method
Spaced pair (be sure to keep both mics equidistant from the snare) Hope that helps 🤟
