I had the same plane but I had a Moki 1.80 2 stroke on mine. It eventually shook the tail off, in flight.
OS twins are great engines, I love my FT-300 on my 30cc RV4.

Great job. I wouldn't get too excited about the power though... that Saito may have more HP than the OS. However, the OS might turn a bigger prop that would give you more static-thrust so hovering may become a possibility. Also... Check your CG... the OS is almost certainly a much heavier engine so the CG may be too far forward for any 3D stuff.

I was glad to see the OS is a bit heavy as I had to put a lot of lead in the nose with the Saito. I know it won’t be much more powerful but the sound make me giggle every time😁. I may end up putting a bigger gasser on it someday we’ll see. I love your videos btw, I’m a vintage aircraft nut🤓.

You did a great job with your mounting and flying this engine............really sorry to see that the clowns on rcg got you banned on your super fair sale price. Boy if I lived there I would buy this one in a heartbeat.

I assume you saw a drop in performance with the new engine. That twin is known for being realistic looking in Cub's and has a neat bubble popping sound but performance and power are not it's thing. Your original engine probably had more power and certainly a MUCH better power to weight ratio.
