Waited 7yrs for this return visit, the one you filmed in 2015 is still one of my favourite vlogs and it is the worlds oldest operating amusement park opened in 1583👌🏻

It would be interesting to know if it's been there since the ride's opening. Just imagine if Disney did a similar joke and put Jessica Rabbit spread legged over the tunnel on Incredicoaster, lol

Isn’t this place just so unique, it’s crazy that there’s no fence around the park & it’s just there in the middle of the woods. I did about 10 rides on Tornado and it finished me off. Great Vlog you two.

You missed an honest "click bait". Bakken ARE the worlds oldest themepark in the world. It opened in 1583 (439 years ago) and is the world's oldest operating amusement park. It´s current oldest running ride are 82 year old. I wonder why when your upload from Tivoli in Copenhagen stresses that Tivoli are the third oldest themepark. The OLDEST, period, must be even more impressive. I have been there several times and one of the things I love are that it are placed in an forest and that you can takes strolls out of the park amongst old oak trees and free running deer. You can take a family picknick in the forest and finish it off by taking some rides (not a fenced park, so no entry fee) and a balloon for the kids and they will sleep through for sure ;-) If you had been there just a few weeks later everything would have been green. If you like it are possible to hire horse drawn open carriages around in the forest.

This vlog was very funny i could not stop laughing when u guys were riding the log flume . The look on charlettes face when she came off the log flume was so funny u guys were really wet when u guys came off. And her look face on the
tornadoe. It look like she wanted to throw up . I could not ride spinny rides they make me dizzy. I love u guys have fun and be safe.

Great theme park review Shawn. Seeing that first coaster with the tunnel I think Great Yarmouth Pleasure Beach could improve their coaster with a tunnel like that. They have tunnels but crazily they are all open, pointless! Those Freak Out rides even make me feel queasy just watching the video let alone watching them. I often watch the Blackpool vlogger PTvlogs ride them and they are terrifying and I wouldn’t ride them. Tornado spinning coaster was a right whipper snapper. Tivoli was fantastic and so is this park👍

I was in Danemark these days (8 of june until 13 of june) for the 1st time with my French association name PARCS PASSION.
I visited:
08/06: Tivoli Gardens
09/06: Bakken
10/06: Legoland Billund + Tivoli Fredehen
11/06: Djurs Sommerland
12/06: Farup Sommerland
13/06: Return home
Bakken is a nice place, The Ghost house was closed all day because of a technical problem.
The best park in Danemark for me is Djurs Sommerland because is well theming but thest ride ride this trip was Fonix at Farup.

Bakken is a nice place, and i have been told that the rides run slower in the daytime vs evening hours so they are more kid friendly.
So funny story. That area from 50:39 actually opened in the last decade and was the largest investment in the parks history. Its a themed area, themed to the Danish TV series "Matador". A TV drama from the 1970's and 80'a set in the 1920's-40's, following the lives of various people in the village of Korsbæk. Most notably the entrepeneur "Mads Skjern" who tries setting up a clothing store in the town, much to the dismay of the town's monopoly store "Damernes Magasin" and its owners, with the main plot focusing on Mads overcoming the odds and outcompeting the old monopoly, all while following stories of various side characters. The whole area is made up of different places from the series, with the main area you showed, being a recreation of the towns main street. There's often actors too reenacting iconic scenes from the series in the area, and the place is home to 2 restaurants. Both sitdowns. A casual one with the railway restaurant, and a high end "Postgaarden" as well as several other shops like a traditional bakery out by the midway to the Log Flume. But yeah huge investment, the themed area cost just as much to build as Fønix over at Fårup Sommerland. 100 million Danish kroner on the dot. In fact a Matador themed experience at Bakken had actually been in the talks ever since the serie's original run in the late 70's, but discussions and planning have just been so slow it didn't open until 2015.

I'm not sure about the park it looks fun and the rides and u not been there 7 years but if it's open 4 that long and you buy a wristband but your only 10 rides on each ride for the whole day . What about if it's dead quiet . Very nice blog u 2 tpw crew

Man I may be a local but I haven't been at Bakken since 2020 with me not renewing season passes to save money. But I do think I know something this park would really be great with. My idea would be to remove the Log Flume and Swan monorail and use that area for an Intamin Hot Racer. A park like Bakken would be perfect for such a ride, it'd be unique for the region as the only launch coaster in Eastern Denmark, it'd give Bakken an inversion packing big coaster to compete with Tivoli, it'd likely be relatively quiet as to not upset locals, and Intamin's predesigned "Overdrive" layout already fits the footprint almost like a glove.
It would be great to see a new large coaster there!

That park Bakken reminds me of an old wooden coaster in Blackpool I don't know if it's still there or not, It was smaller than some of the other coasters

A good park with a lot of good rides, Tornado think from what I have seen on other videos needs to renamed into the Neck Breaker or Cracker lol. Have seen videos even in this one the onride pov where the guys neck looks like it breaks. Don't honestly fancy experiencing this coaster for that reason being honest, water chute a.k.a log flume was amazing, water really dirty and could do with a clean lol. But really good ride, love seeing Charlotte get soaked on every one you go on especially when she gets mad lol. Really funny, loved and enjoyed this video & vlog. Had an idea for a UK resort / Park if you can guess it as mention it a lot and its not Dreamland, its another which I suggested which in my opinion could feature a horseback ride type of simulator to feature maybe a Red Dead Redemption type of attraction for adults? With if you played game by Rockstar? A scenario with Dutch is gang? Think it would be epic as a ride and attraction idea? But well see? By the way with the duck ride, I remember seeing the duck come off the ride and fall onto ground? Think its still on UA-cam somewhere? Not sure where? But out there somewhere still? But yeah, another good video, did enjoy and look forward in future for more. 😀👍
