All these fantastic great Westerns to watch. Nothing better than watch folk sit a horse 🐎 . My mum started riding a horse to school when she was 5 years old. Just think, all living in these movies have past on now. 🙏
The honorable gentleman of the Old South, gives the enemies a good burial and honors them like soldiers even when they weren't & gets the lady . Much obliged Grjngo!
Love old school movies. They really had amazingly greater writing back then. So good that new school gets their stories from them. Quentin Tarantino gets his stuff from old school all the time. New idea's are few these days. So keep giving us these old school movies. Thanks for putting this video out.
Dorothy Malone was a leading star and one of the last surviving actresses from the Golden Age of Hollywood when she died in 2018 at age 93. She was signed by RKO when she was just 18!
It always has me beat as to where the orchestra is. I look behind trees and rocks but I never espied them. only once did I see the band making all the music. That was a Western too.
You wrote that Roger Corman lnows how to do his westerns. Well, he even knows how to put ghosts into his westerns ! «Ghost Town»(1988) The best Sheriff VS dead badmen movie there’s.
Yes, the Civil War was from 1861 to 1865, it was mention " 1867 " guess the script writers didn't research that ? As well as not period correct weapons.
For me 1955 was a little kid sitting down looking at cowboys all day everyday hey I have a question to all the guys who watch westerns my favorite picture is the wild bunch I like to know what you guys think of that if you get to see it and tell me you know that's what I want to know
😢 like I said I was watching cowboys since 1955 my favorite cowboy is the wild bunch how many you guys seen it and have an opinion about it let me know
I am just starting the movie (7min), and I am already wondering if this is one more movie from when Hollywood started to "change" criminal guys into "good" people. ...hope I am wrong.
As a baseball player: - Chuck Connors was known to turn cartwheels while circling the bases after a home run. As a basketball player: - Connors is credited with shattering the first glass backboard ever, during a November 1946 Celtics’ pregame warm-up.
3:20 The Civil War ended in 1865 and the Confederate officer says the crime was committed in 1867. Pretty dumb script writer. Also a Confederate is holding a trap door Springfield that did not exist in the Civil War. Neither did the revolvers of these five criminals nor the Winchester rifles. Historically inept movie.
Chester Just started to watch this decided to read comments and I read yours no I'm looking for the errors that you pointed out time to investigate the movie🕶"
early Winchesters came out in the late civil war. Metallic cartridges were first made in France in 1854 and Smith and Wesson started making them in the US a few years later.
@@williamdinwiddie5063 Winchesters were not introduced until 1866. The Civil War ended in 1865. The Henry was invented in 1860 and saw limited use in the Civil War. The Winchester Model 1866 was an improvement on the Henry and resolved some of the weaknesses of the Henry.
I AM AT AGE==84 NOW==AND STILL LOVE ALL WESTERNS==''KUDOS''

When I was watching it was either Paramount what are some other big movie producers that made cowboy pictures
You go by the cowboy code so do I

Minimum words in old westerns. Such a contrast to modern. Enjoy the simplicity. Different world.
Roger Cormans first film! Truly an underrated western.
It always has me beat as to where the orchestra is. I look behind trees and rocks but I never espied them. only once did I see the band making all the music. That was a Western too.
Probably the same place as spaghetti movie Makers put them
And you're so lucky about that music I've heard more than once I'll be honest I like American made movies I don't care for the spaghetti movies

Considering those dudes had to make a 4-day trip in 3 days, they sure did take their time. They was hardly riding like they were in a hurry 🙄

Yup
Sure is

Nice horses in this film.
That mustve been one heck of a full moon when they rode at midnight to make up time lol
Yes. If nothing else. Money always talks.
Leave it to the old cowboy to know when to cut and ride. Good weapons. Good horse. No gold. One already dead. Am out of here
I'm going to say this money does not always talk to everybody
Good B-Western

Touch Connors? Dash Riprock, anyone?
Is Mike "Touch" Connors related to Chuck Connors???...
lol No - but Mike Connors played "Mannix" on TV for quite a few seasons.
As a baseball player:
- Chuck Connors was known to turn cartwheels while circling the bases after a home run.
As a basketball player:
- Connors is credited with shattering the first glass backboard ever, during a November 1946 Celtics’ pregame warm-up.
Mike Conner's had detective tv show. Mannix
Nope
👏👏👏👏👏👏

It's in the script 🤣
Roger Corman made this movie, he was the king of B movie making. Just Google some of the titles, accuracy was not something he ever worried about.
