man the way you talked in the intro just brought back some memories, sounds exactly like you back when you made guides on how to be good with titans, i miss those times
I wish I had more stuff to make in-depth guides like that on. A lot of the legends just don't grab me enough to want to go to that level.

He’s basically the equivalent of an assault player sitting on an ammo box in BF1
I've noticed that Fuse can also stack 2 respawn beacons per inventory slot. I'm not sure if that's a bug or not, but I've found it to be pretty handy.
I assume it's a bug which is why I didn't mention it, but it's interesting to note!
His tactical is also good for covering sounds with how loud it is. Good luck tracking footsteps, rezs, and heals with that going off anywhere nearby.
Caustic ult and motherlode should pair very well.
They're forced to leave the gas, but through a wall of flames that inflicts 75 damage, and they can't just sprint out of it either.
I haven't been able to test it myself due to having no one to test with, but in theory, You have direct health damage forcing people out into a substantial amount of shield damage.
While i doubt it'd kill anyone, It'd likely be very powerful.
Plus if you have a three stack, you COULD try to incorporate horizon as well, if you wanted to.
Obviously mobility characters will negate this, so it's probably not at all foolproof, but it's something
I am using Fuse quite aggressively and pushing with him like hell. The ability to just stop someone's push is amazing. I've done some many kills with his ult even in the first games when I did not know what to use and what his abilities were. His ult is great for ganking team fights, pushing people out cover into the open field to be shot to pieces. I've had great synergy with Horizons or Pathfinders. As long as you get the high ground it is really hard to push a Fuse. His kit punishes the climbing animation so well. He is really well teamed with Rampart if you want to turtle. The Loba combo was mentioned. He also has one of the best voice lines so far.

Silencing abilities, that's fine.
Preventing you from running? You're already dead. Half of this game is being able to move well, if you cut someone off from using the one thing that allows you to survive 90% of the situations you're in, especially for as long as silence lasts, you're literally making them helpless.
You may as well just make it instantly down people my guy.

I really love Fuse, but I feel like he shouldnt take self damage and he should be able to land his ult on peoples heads instead of just doing the measely 5 damage. For a character all about causing mayhem, all his ult can do is third party and defend. He isnt too good at attacking.
One pairing that's really good is caustic. If you got the team play skills comboing a fuse/ caustic ult on a team is sweet music. Also caustic traps go well with defensive or offensive close range grenade spams.
Ive had this idea since i first tried fuse, horozon ult into caustic ult, then fuze ult. They are forced to eaither sit and die on the caustic gas or if they try to escape, they have to walk through the ring of fire. Its a lose-lose situation and would love to see this in end game situations
The ult is good for final circles. I already had it win me one game as Fuse in a 3 team cluster by roping off one team as we rotated. Easy to see how it could be used to force someone through the fire with the ring chasing them as well. Overall I think he's very well balanced and his kit feels good because it's nice and responsive, as opposed to Caustic who is very slow to throw traps or Crypto who's drone is very slow to come out. Even when they're powerful they don't feel as good to play. Fuse doesn't have that problem at all.

It’s probably pretty obvious but if you don’t have threat vision then shooting the tactical into bang smoke is a great way to track people inside of it

I've had some situations where blowing the lode inside an allied or enemy gibby dome worked pretty well.
Hey I was messing around with rampart and I found out that an amped sentinel firing through the amped barrier deals over 200 dog on headshot just a head up

I think a way to make his ult more useful is either to make it drop down faster or just have it be a normal mortar with smaller damage and be focused on more of a stun effect
Big fan of this in depth guide! Keep in mind i haven't been able to watch the whole video, so excuse my possible ignorance when i ask how you think fuse fits into apex's meta?
Meh. He's okay. Not bad. Hard to justify taking him when so many of the other legends are so powerful though.
I normally use fuses ult as an escape plan or defensively. Most occasions. Specially in buildings where the roof will make it drop sooner. Like in bunker when a team tried rushing us and dropped my friend I shoot it down as they ran in and they had to run past the whole circle, but cramped into the small hallway so it was like running through my circle twice in 1 go on BOTH ends because it made a line in the hallway. Instead of a full circle. The circle fucked them up and my ultimate slowed them down and weekend them to even chase after me
Can you do a top legends list?
Another great way to use his ultimate is to separate a team. Obviously mobile legends can avoid it entirely, but it's rare that an entire team is mobile legends, and separating the grounded ones from their high flying teammates is a great way to take them out. They'll either have to tank the damage, or deal with the grenades being chucked at their face.
He's definitely a low B-tier legend but he's incredibly fun to play and in some instances that can be more important than having an S-tier legend that's not very fun.
His ultimate is the perfect size for trapping a team in the new arsenal buildings, and then spamming nades, or laying down some heavy team fire.
I think the idea is that you throw nades in to the enemy as they are trapped in his ultimate. They either run to the fire and take damage or stay inside and take damage

Another appeal to fuse is the impeccable sound design - I’d argue he has some of the best.

The fire ring wont hurt allies, but it can break their sprints apparently.

Do you think he could be used in competitive at all?
I've found most grenades are actually harder to use with Fuse, such as the "grenade in the sky" trick where you throw basically straight up, and getting grenades on ledges etc. I find often i overshoot my target. However, with arc stars, its so easy to stick people without even trying. I'd say almost run arc stars as your primary to get entry damage, then full send with 2x shotguns (low ammo requirement). Yes, his ultimate is not very good, but who cares, his passive is amazing. When's the last time someone in gold or below had a gibby ult be the deciding factor in a match? For the vast majority of players, Fuse is an A+ or even S tier legend

i ran into a guy with 2000 kills on fuse already on ps4. that's next level basement dwelling.
He should be immune to his own ult but not thermites. And his ult should LAND with the whole AOE of the circle engulfed in flames that reced into a flame wall not spawn a useless wall of flames. Then we can talk
His tactical is kinda op but his ultimate is complete ass. Oh yeah his passive is op too
Complete ass... for aggresive plays. For crowd control/ creating space, it's serviceable.

His ult. How does it work against a Watson ult? Why would it need to shoot it out. It literally only lands around you and is no immediate threat. Watson ult laughs so hard at the motherlode
Wattsons ult just trashes on Fuse in general lol his ult, Knuckle Cluster and it eats incoming nades.
Too much hipfire in this game. Shame, would be great otherwise.
this may be one of the weirdest takes I've seen on apex legends
to be honest.. this season is a pass for me. fuse doesnt interest me at all. was hoping they bring in characters to tie time travel aspect for this season as they teased so much about horizon goin back in time or something like that. why this random character which such a cheesy back story. even the season pass was soooo meh except for that one bangalore skin. i want to know the number of players that stuck around after launch week compared to that of horizon's launch week.
