When it comes to educating children,
it is important to enlighten them with
affection and motivate them with reason.
Punish them when they make mistakes while
also helping them restore a balanced state of mind.

You have to highlight all the great things you learned from them. Then explain why expanding your horizons in other areas/skills will help you get a more rounded experience.

I’m the exact same way with people asking me questions twice. If they ask me a question and I answer it and they ask me the same question again later I’ll just straight up ignore them lol.
Also I relate to the experience of teachers telling me to do things without telling me why we’re doing it. I never even start doing it until I figure out why I’m doing it.

Excellent video! I had a similar experience with my first boss. She was a terrible mentor so I left that job. The good ones challenged me to give the best and it was easier to learn and made me feel motivated. I wish at schools they could include a class of how to be good mentors because we are at some point of our lives a mentor for someone else...

Amazing content as usual, but somtimes you train others and develop them, but then they start to compete with you, you'll end up fighting for your job

Great video, definitely going to use the Push for questions when looking for an internship.
That said, what kind of internship would you suggest? Bank/Big 4 (although accountancy isn’t my best thing)/something else?
Any suggestions is appreciated, I’m clueless where to apply hah.

big 4 is very valuable. But I like banks as well as second option (just not retail bank of course, such as teller and so on)

You should be able to land an entry level staff accountant role. It’s a candidate market right now. Maybe show your relevance by either start studying for the CPA or take a couple of online accounting courses (Udemy is ok) that can issue you a certificate of completion

Yeah not acceptable today and I would NOT advocate for a second, even in the title. :(
Screaming at you did not work. True mentorship did.
