3Block Ko thing is he didn’t beat Jirens full power. He got his ass beat even prior to CUi, Jiren was overpowering Goku after he broke his limits and even had Goku down for some time before the asspull Friendship Boost from Krillin came along after Krillin said “GOKU!”, Goku somehow managed to “gain stamina” to still fight.
Whats even worse is he got a rage boost from Jiren trying to hurt his friends & this is what lead to Goku overpowering Jiren. Now that I think about it that’s probably the reason Gokus body was damaged because CUi is about clear thought and clear mind no emotion, he showed rage and that was probably the why his body was damaged before he finished Jiren.
Besides that though, Jiren was kicking Gokus ass after he broke his limits.

I was saying the same thing. Zamasu and Goku black were not super strong, just invincible and super haxxy. Meanwhile jiren was Uber strong and haxxy, while not invincible. His strength completely outclassed goku black and zamasu even after the fusion

No he stated that he must respond. It was unknown if he was using full power at that time. Even U11 Kai says how will mui fare against a full power jiren without knowledge of limit breaker yet, implying that when jiren said “I must respond” he was almost full power, but his full power still didn’t do jack to mui goku so 🤷♂️

@Zechs Marquise Not at all. Ultra instinct is usually different from what Goku has. Goku's ultra instinct is a transformation which also boosts his strength and speed. For beings like the angels, their ultra instinct doesn't increase their strength or speed and it's more natural. If Jiren had ultra instinct his body would move and attack at it's max speed/strength at all times.
If I had to guess, I'd say that ultra instinct was transformation for friezas race as well but beings who don't transform would have it naturally like humans, angels, and namekians.
Maybe it is possible for a Saiyan to gain ultra instinct without having to transform.

One thing I found very interesting about Jiren’s power is that if it outweighs yours enough you literally can’t even approach him (like Catopesra) because of the barrier it forms.
Not something we’ve every really seen in Dragon Ball the closest example I can give is from DBZ movie 7 when Goku absorbed the Spirit Bomb.

If you think about it Jiren is what Broly should be if he was around goku and vegeta. If Broly can go toe to toe in base with goku blue I can’t imagine if this was Broly using ultra instinct
I think jiren is a awesome character! Hes mysterious and confident! He reminds me of a cross between Jin kazama and Ryu!
I would like to see broly vs jiren. While jiren is stronger broly has a lot of potential.
Broly is fighting prodigy which is ironic because with Toriyama re-writing his character, Broly prefers to live peacefully.
Easy fix to Jiren’s character: instead of him being stoic & wanting to gain more strength because why not, his motivation should’ve been viewing Goku as an enemy, since he was the catalyst of the ToP & put innocent lives in danger, therefore he must stop him. Fits in with his “unwavering justice” attitude, and a great rivalry between “protecting the innocent through strength” Jiren & “fighting to become stronger cuz I am a Saiyan” Goku. But of course they ruined that by saying Zeno was gonna destroy every universe anyway, so Goku inadvertently “saved” everyone by proposing the ToP.
It’s still crazy to me that Goku was still able to go SSJ1 at the end after everything he went through. His stamina recovery is ridiculous.
