- We visit a huge show venue here in Pattaya where the stage performance was electrifying and I think one not to miss. Afterwards we have dinner on the beach and then save some money at a few places on Pattaya's Dark Side.

Very entertaining video, the show looked excellent, and the performances looked so easy from the talented performers, a great night out.
The Colosseum is such a unique looking building and the show seemed so colorful and well done (no wonder the time went by so fast, lol).

all the cabaret shows i have been to in Pattaya come out after the show, you can pay to have a photo taken with them, i guess after lockdown they may have stopped for a while though

I'm afraid I boycott these places you have to order by QR or digital ordering stations like MacDonalds, I want the personal touch where I can ask about what I'm eating or add or subtract from the meal as presented on the menu. Leave off the mushrooms and give me extra beans, please.
McDonalds here you can still order at the counter, but the screen is an option too.

The best show in Pattaya used to be Kaan in the theatre almost opposite the coliseum. Unlike others show's it was not a ladyboy affair it was properly produced and had large scale animated dragons etc. it wouldn't have been out of place in a Las Vegas hotel. Although the theatre is still there, it remains unused as the show never returned after covid 😢

They have a similar show in nong nooch gardens… but with live elephants as well…..I love the low season..it’s my favorite time to travel around Thailand..next week….4-5 days in koh Chang I just saw the hotel prices starting to come down…

@Rides 5 Kickz: I was wondering about something you say in your video alot and that is "low season". Since when is now low season? Songkran is around the corner where it should be so busy that the governament wanted to make it a month long O.o I would consider "low season" starting from July and many internet site agree with me. Many other sites say March/April but mostly because of the extreme weather and not because of visitors.
Sure, the impression i get from various videos online, some feedback from friends and checking the prices of flights, it seems that there is not many tourists being/going in/to Thailand but I didn't check the official travel numbers. The fact that the air up north is very bad, i would think that it pushes people more to the south but maybe it is just that Thailand is loosing in attractivness.
The end of March and first week of April start low season, but there is a spike around Songkran and then it immediately lapses back into low season, the low of the low is June and July, but second half of April, May, August and September still considered low season.

We gave all the water guns back to mama, only buckets for us now 🤣

The show looked over the top - but possibly worth a look. Lunch looked really good.
Why is it called "the dark side" ?
If you were to look at it from space at night, Pattaya on the west side of sukhumvit would be all lit up with the lights from the bars/nightclubs; but on the east side (the dark side) it would be, well, dark. There isn't much going on over there. Or there wasn't back when people started calling it that. Over the past 25 years or so, parts of it have gotten busier.
Edit:
It's more like small town Thailand than a touristy place. There isn't a lot of western food and the prices are cheaper. If you're on a budget, but still want to be within spitting distance of Pattaya, it might not be a bad place to live. You're gunna want to make sure you like Thai food though, and you'll probably _need_ a motorbike instead of it being a luxury.

this time of year is by far the best re breezes ,due to the day time heat I guess . Day time heat now is debilitating and that strong early evening gusty winds are great

The theatre was renovated about 8 months ago apparently.
How do you know about all the shows .. I saw your video uploaded 3 weeks ago.. some carnival in a temple.. do you always Google what show is happening

You have friends and connections, it's a shame you obviously don't have either.
There are local signs, there are events posted on facebook and of course word of mouth. There is not really a central depository for events though.
