I hope to see more of this game from Grubby. I wanna see optimized Grubby once he gets the hang of the game.
actually minmaxing is a blessing or a curse i played the game in all 4 difficulties and the problem is that you have so many efficiency laws that the difficulty is allwasys only in the early game , by the end you have like 10k unemployed people are hundreds of thousands of every resource , i hope they expand the campaign later on because it felt really short , its basically 5 missions that each is faster than the last so most of the time is spent in the early game
thumbnail is grubby turning into a ghoul
The story is the direct continuity from Frostpunk 1. The music in this game is even more amazing!
the music in this game is great!

Accidently played 5 hours on my first sit down... thinking I finally beat it, achieving my quest.. Chapter 2.. Chapter 3.. shit
PS you can destroy single building improvements rather than the whole district (hard locked on Pre-fabs, refund a coal mine)
Stock Pile mechanics not well optimized, I think I had some resources maxxed out for over an hour before I realized it, steep learning curve even though I played beta early in year.
No idea why I got unsubbed from this channel, weird.
Backseat gamer time.
1. You should put only the needed amount of district space in the blue areas, since it means you can get the bonuses on multiple districts. Dunno why every streamer starts out putting a single housing district in the entire blue zone.
2. Yes you should overlap as many nodes as possible on your district, since more districts mean you will waste more heat/workers, and it will let you use a single building to extract all of it.
3. Leave gaps between districts ("holes" if you will) so you can put hubs there.
4. Overclocking the generator can be thought of as generating coal. Since the generator can generate infinite heat and it's just a matter of how much coal you consume per heat unit. This means you should always be overclocking and letting it cool off. Leaving it at 0% overheat means you're "wasting" the overclock resource.
Gonna have to watch the rest tomorrow.
love this series
I loved Frostpunk 1 when I watched it on one of my favorite streamers. I also bought and tried the game but didn't succeed without help. The game design and game difficulty are so cool but also so hard. It looks like Frostpunk 2 is cooler than the first one but more complicated. I gonna watch streams and videos like yours for tips and who knows... Maybe one day I gonna succeed myself at FP1 and 2.
I cant feel Frostpunk, it soul. Just citybuilder in postapok, like endzone
I'm looking forward to the next part in this series
"Cold woman-"
"Man"
"Man, sorry. What work's done in that district over there?"
"It's -47."
"What?"
"It's -47, it's not cold."
Popped into my head on seeing the thumbnail.
What's that from?
@@MyNameIsDecember Monty Python and the Holy Grail, the peasant scene
LMAO
@@MyNameIsDecember It's the best comedic scene in all of movie history. Dennis the emanciated peasant.
@@Theis_Ejsing Well I didn't know that you were ~called~ Dennis.
God I love that scene.
hes probably waiting for the new patch there working on starting monday the longer you play and the bigger the city gets theres a nasty bug right now that causes audio popping and massive cpu throttling after a few hours of play the game starts locking up for 5+ minutes at a time, they just put out a temp fix called the whiteout branch beta till monday.
More plz 😊
PLEASE MORE! Oh this game is soooo good
Have you ever played minecraft, Grubby?
wow amazing game
you just look at white screen for hours with nothing hapenning
truly best game of the year
It's fun how people see totally different things, I personally think the stark colours look really good.
@@Ninjaguiden89 The entire theme would go down the drain if they made technicolor snow and bouncy, whimsical UI elements. It is something, the opposite of nothing. Chatters will chat.
@@josephreynolds2401 No arguments here
Funny I don't wanna give Grubby a hard time, but that's exactly how I've always felt about this game... It's so mediocre... I think the only reason they're successful is all the bizarre marketing deals and partnerships they have, like the game came for free on Amazon and GoG and a bunch of other promotions but the actual gameplay? It could be a browser town management game... I don't get the appeal. But all power to anyone that enjoys it!
soyjak on the thumbnail
