And she is doing this in a team that was bottom last in 2017, 2018, 2021, 2022 and 2023 and 2nd to last in 2020. Which means, not a particularly strong team.
She's remarkable.

Considering how bad her teammates were through the first 10-15 games this season at fumbling her passes and missing easy layups, Clark really could have about 50 more assists than she currently has
She would have 400 Assist this season if her teammates didn't have butterfingers their favorite candy and if they could make a f****** lauyup. A few miss lay up yesterday a few against vegas in those 2 games honestly she's probably had a 100 missed layouts this year. You think almost 3 game for 40 games that's well over a 100. And Caitlin did not have the problems at Iowa. Her hawkeye teammates rarely dropped her passes and they rarely miss white open bunnies.
8.4 assists per game on the season, BUT 10.0 assists per game over the last 19 games! This season is epic, and next season could blow already blown minds!
Most Points by a Rookie, Most Assists Ever for a season, Most assists in a game, Only Rookie with a Triple Double (TWICE).. ANd the list goes on and ON !!!! And if she isn't the Unanimous Rookie--- THEN I CALL RACISM BIG TIME ON THOSE WHO ARE SO BLINDED BY THEIR WOKENESS !!!!
How about the Fever attendance record. They smashed the living crap out of that. Next closes team EVER was 200,000 less. Kelsey and AB are balling but they came to see C Squared.

What pisses some people off is that she shouldnt be doing this already... I mean you can tell she's struggling and adapting still but she's already at a level that they was SURE she wouldnt be. I remember early in the season she was considered slow, weak... and now every game they talk about how she just flies by defenders and finishes with contact?! If she gets better its going to be FUNNY for the next years... And that puts the pressure on the next #1 pick that a lot of them were saying would adapt way better... now I just sit back and enjoy 🤣

CC clearly thrives on the challenge of the push back. This is one individual you do not say you can’t to. Her mindset and drive is what sets her apart. She wants to be that player. Her name should be the postman. Going to churn 25/10 games for fun and 50/20 games when she gets hot. She’s just getting started.

If Clark started the season how she is ending it she could have broken it this year. She is only 220 points away from it this season. She is averaging 19.5, she would need to average 25 next year. Thats a three pointer and a layup per game more she needs.

Looks like the Fever can win the majority of their playoff games against the 3 Sun games, 5 Lynx games, & even their 5 Liberty games for the championship series. Turns out, this year, the Fever may have a shot to win the entire lot. Then of course, like you say, CC will get much better next year.
The emotion and the turnovers make for an interesting finals campaign. They could go all the way but they also might not. Everyone will be watching to see this drama unfold with a true phenom in her sport.

This is not a normal WNBA season but people still don't get it. Angel Reese would've been unanimous ROTY any other season, same with A'ja Wilson MVP, people are now beginning to evaluate the value of the player compare to high scoring which is kind of a norm for MVP. The truth is CC phenomenal, this is possibly A'ja Wilson best season by a mile, yet it looked as if nothing has happened. As a human, i really do feel for these ladies having to compete with her because it doesn't look 'fair' just like Messi and CR7 in the soccer world - some players go through much effort to achieve whatever they've while it looks to some selected few, its a walk in the park and things just keep falling into place for them
Not much has fallen into place for CC. Obstacles and barriers were put in her way. CC should not be able to do what she is doing. It would normally be a safe bet to say she would fall short. In her team she should be the most annoying shadow to be under and play with. But she’s not instead she has unlocked 3 of her teammates games with her confidence and assists. CC is a phenom that may be a hard act to follow.

Catlin Clark is King Turnover. 215 turnovers so far. That is a rookie record and WNBA history record along with a rookie record of 10 turnovers in a game.
Candice Parker had a game where she had 9 turnovers. Steweie had several games where she had 9 turnovers. In this time Clark stats are better than any other rookie to play in the WNBA. She only had 2 games this season where she scored less than 10 points and that is because they sat her out after the first half. You can take away the turnovers and she will still break the rookie record for most assists. She is responsible for more than 47% of her teams points per game.
Hey that is part of getting to know your teammates let me see you come straight wnba from college and have no training camp and all new teammates and let's see how you do she has turn down on turnovers since the beginning of the season that's because she's watching film and her teammates are getting used to her now
And? Even with that she is still producing the most points in the W bar none! Do you understand that?? Her team has 20 wins this year they haven't done that since 2015 and that is by having her on the team. The turnovers are not the main factor in her team losing, not having practice in order to learn each other, having no chemistry with each other and having a rookie come in and take over running the team on the court those are the reasons they lost their games this year. Her production has produced more points than lost from turnovers because just having a turnover doesn't automatically mean points for the other team. You really need to learn more about basketball.
Most turnovers in NBA history...Lebron james,Westbrook,Carl malone,John stockton, kobe bryant,jason kidd.....go down the list of turnovers and all of them are hall of famers or future hall of famers...also consider the fact that stockton and malone were on the same damn team and they are still considered one of the most dynamic duos of all time...
That shows that with more use...ll come more mistakes...and more use belongs to the best players that have the ball in their hands most of the time....thats all it shows....
