I managed to watch the original video before it got taken down. You mentioned that you wanted some suggestions that weren't Pixar-ish :)

This is a great movie! Apart from the visuals I really appreciated the writers finding a refreshing way to use the concept of time travel. It's been done so many times but it was cool to see kind of a new take on it. Was cool to see your reaction to it!
If you're looking for some stop motion recommendations to try something other than anime, I really like the Wes Andersen movies Fantastic Mr. Fox and Isle of Dogs. They're pretty fun and the visuals are really pleasant. Another great one that isn't a comedy is Anomalisa directed by Charlie Kaufman.
