They have memory issues because the god of time erased them to keep everything "correct". Their memos as well. The reason his message of love was not erased across time is because the god of the moon protects messages of love, and is more powerful than the god of time. Such a good movie! I enjoyed watching it again. If you watch Weathering With You next, you can see Taki and Mitsuha again, they have cameos in that movie.
There is also the whole bit about the Body of the God. To enter is to go to the underworld, and to get back you have to give up the thing that is most important to you. They both left the body without a gift, so they had to give up the thing that meant the most to them. Their memories of each other. (It is also foreshadowed when they can't remember anything from their switches at first, and the Grandmother saying she can't remember anything about her switching either. They aren't supposed to remember.) But their connection was so close that they were still tied even when they had their memories taken away.
Ryunosuke Kamiki, who voiced Taki, also played the main character, a fighter pilot, in Godzilla Minus One. Stumbled across your channel since I had been on a "Your Name" kick. I appreciate your reaction as this is one of my most favorite films, anime or live-action. The visuals are obviously gorgeous, but I also wanted to appreciate RADWIMPS, who did an amazing job on the soundtrack. (That moment when she opened her hand ... 😢😢) You prophetically said, "Perhaps they're looking for each other" at 1:50 when the film cuts right as Mitsuha sees Taki on the train. A UA-camr interpreted that the film could be seen as a flashback where the memories or feelings come back to them at this moment.
A saw Your Name a few months ago and is thanks to this movie that I'm starting to enter in the anime world. After this movie I saw Weathering With You, Suzume, A Silent Voice, I saw the complete anime of Sword Art Online and now I'm starting to watch Demon Slayer
you should watch Haikyuu, Attack On Titan, Code Geass, if you like sport, humanity, and politic, and many many anime that give you goosebumps story telling, lucky if you got a hidden gem
I've had a very similar start to anime, just a year earlier. After Demon Slayer i definitely recommend Attack On Titan (avoid spoilers at all costs for this one, do not look-up anything related to it on youtube or you might get spoiled through comments/titles/thumbnails, better watch it sooner than later while you are spoiler free), Frieren (if you like fantasy setting), Re:Zero (it's getting 3rd season in October).
Definitely consider Violet Evergarden. Same people that made A Silent Voice, passion project of the studio, and an incredible sleeper hit/cult classic.
This was an AMAZING choice of movie. However, I should inform you that all of Makoto Shinkai's movies are interconnected (but not to the extent that you *need* to watch them in order, as their connection usually extends only to characters or places from previous movies appearing as a cameo. ie. Taki and Mitsuha have a cameo in the next movie, Tenki no Ko). Also, this movie's twist was actually EXTREMELY cleverly hidden in plain sight pretty much the whole time. I even managed to make an entire word document listing every detail that gave it away. Alright... so this is a movie that I LOVE to dive a little too deep into (but as you'll soon see, there are a myriad of details very deliberately planted that only such a person could notice). Firstly, the big twist of this story is that Taki and Mitsuha are switching bodies through time (three years to be precise, between 2013 and 2016). However, the story is extremely carefully crafted to make this detail almost impossible to notice unless you notice the tiny details I'm going to point out. And since reactions don't feature the entire length of the movie, I have organized these notes by the DVD/Blu-ray's chaptering (up to the last chapter where these details are hidden, about halfway through): Chapter 1: Intro from both POVs (in own bodies). Chapter 2: RADWIMPS OP Chapter 3: Itomori (Mitsuha in her own body, waking up) Chapter 4: Itomori (Mitsuha in her own body, at home) Chapter 5: Itomori (Mitsuha in her own body, at school) [Thursday, September 5, 2013] Chapter 6: Itomori (Mitsuha in her own body, at home) Chapter 7: Itomori (Mitsuha in her own body, at ritual) Chapter 8: Tokyo (Mitsuha in Taki's body, at home/school) Chapter 9: Tokyo (Mitsuha in Taki's body, at work) Chapter 10: Tokyo (Taki in his own body, at home/school) Chapter 11: Itomori (Mitsuha in her own body) Chapter 12: Both POVs w/ RADWIMPS music. Chapter 13: Itomori (Taki in Mitsuha's body) [Sunday, September 29, 2013] Chapter 14: Tokyo (Taki in his own body) [Sunday, October 2, 2016] Chapter 15: Itomori (Mitsuha in her own body) [Friday, October 4, 2013] Chapter 16: Tokyo (Taki in his own body) Chapter 17: Tokyo and other places (Taki in his own body) *Chapter 3* Mitsuha's phone is an Apple iPhone 5s (which was released in Japan September 2012) *Chapter 4* The radio announces the local mayoral election will be held next month on October 20th. The TV shows a forecast of Comet Tiamat's passing by Earth on October 4th. *Chapter 5* Classroom chalkboard reads "月9日5 (木)" (meaning "September 5 (Thursday)") *Chapter 8* Taki's phone is an Apple iPhone 7 (which was release in Japan September 2016) *Chapter 9* After work, Mitsuha checks Taki's phone diary. Among the dates seen are: - Thursday, September 1st - Tuesday, August 30th - Thursday, August 25th - Wednesday, August 17th - Sunday, August 14th - Monday, August 8th - Wednesday, August 3rd All of these correspond to the year 2016. *Chapter 11* When Taki and Mitsuha finally figure out that they've been switching bodies, they scroll through their phones' calendars. Both of them have an entry for September 9th and 12th, but they are different days of the week. *Chapter 13* Mitsuha (Taki) comes out for breakfast in her school uniform, which confuses Yotsuha, indicating it's the weekend. Because we know Taki is in Mitsuha's body on odd-numbered days this month, and it is later than September 12th, it must be Sunday the 15th, Saturday the 21st, or Sunday the 29th. *Chapter 14* After Taki's date with Okudera, he pulls out his phone to see a note from Mitsuha telling him that Comet Tiamat should be visible at the end of their date. His phone shows a date of Sunday, October 2nd (meaning Chapter 13 was likely on Sunday the 29th). This confuses Taki (since the comet was three years ago to him), so he tries calling her. *Chapter 15* Mitsuha and friends go out at night to see the comet. The chapter ends with a high-pitched noise and a sudden black screen. This was the moment Mitsuha and everyone else in Itomori was killed by the fragment of Comet Tiamat. Taki learns the twist a few chapters later. Also, if you ever end up watching Koe no Katachi (A Silent Voice), check out the "Inner Silence" version. It's a BD-exclusive audio track for the movie that removes all voice acting and other noise, with nothing but a piano score carrying the tone of the story. The purpose of it is to insert the view into the perspective of the story's heroine, who is deaf. It hits SO much harder.
FUCKING BEST MOVIE OF THIS FUCKING PLANET.... THE OST THE ANIMATION THE CHARACTERS ARE JUST PURE MASTERPIECE... MAKOTO SHINKAI SIR DID A GREAT JOB IN HIS LIFE...
55:25 I like how you've resigned yourself to them never meeting again, and you were even starting a little denouement to wrap up the film; then your face literally lit up when they locked eyes in separate trains.
The tokyo shown in this anime is a ditto copy of the real tokyo. Even the italian restaurant that Taki worked in and the stairs in the last part. Animation is amazing. No landscape is creatively animated, everything is real
The event that saved the town was when 51:31 Mitsuha confronted her father a second time, back in her own body, and convinced him to get on the speaker and order the evacuation.
Yes, indeed! Mitsuha's father is in the election. If it should come out that his daughter is the gang leader for the terrorist attack, well his goose is cooked. So to cover the event, he reorders the emergency test evacuation to the High School which is already in progress, and then he becomes the hero who saved all the people of Itomori. The moment you mention where Mitsuha as Mitsuha confronts her father, that look of determination on her face is to die for, and they all will, unless the father caves.
@@folcwinep.pywackett8517I really wanted to see how she really convinced her father but that might have kill the suprise of learning later in the movie that all people of itomori are alive
Wonderful beautiful movie and reaction. It's a modern classic. Went to the theater to support it and went in blind and the time twist was great. Did not see that coming. It's a favorite. Happy you got to experience it.
@@jm329 well the horizontal line she draws isn't used in the word "mitsuha" but it is used in "aishiteru" or "I love you" and it was confirmed by the director makoto shinkai Edit: *isn't used in the beginning of the word
I see a ton of comments talking about movies. I would like to recommend a show. The Dangers in My Heart. It is one of the best romance anime of all time. The story/animation/music are all fantastic. Story starts a little crazy but after a few episodes it becomes a never ending increase of fantastic character growth that will leave you crying.
Lovely reaction to a stunningly lovely film. My fan theory is that the God of Itomori bent the rules of time and space to rescue its people from their original fate.
Extra Info - They are married ( Confirmed By Author) Everyone is commenting popular movies but I will suggest you three great underrated movies 1. Josee, the Tiger and the Fish 2. The Tunnel to Summer, the Exit of Goodbye 3. Hello World
‼️Everyone locates the series faster with their original names‼️ I don't know why they have the bad habit of translating everything, seriously what is the need to do that 😒
When I was in elementary school, I watched this movie in a theater, and it is still my favorite movie. There are also other interesting trivia about this movie, so please look it up
The 4 previous anime movies Makoto Shinkai made all had a similar theme, about 2 people in a relationship but separated and longing for each other. This is the first one which had a happy ending, where the two get together!
@@FullMetalB Garden of Words was the first i saw. I loved so much i was looking for the other ones. Watched 5 centimetres per Second and Your Name after. It was the year they released Weathering With You, but it never went to my coutry theaters, i was so devasted. I still need to watch Voices of a Distant Star, btw
I was already a fan of Makoto Shinkai's past films (5cm being his first film that I watched) before Your Name out - and I remember watching this in the cinema and thinking to myself "this is going to be like his past films, and they'll never meet again". So the way that my heart was doing laps when Taki and Mitsuha met again at the end of the film!!
@@KariHaruka I wonder what the audience reaction would have been if Taki and Misuha had never gotten together - just passed each other. In a way that might have been more romantic.
@@KariHaruka I started with Garden of Words then watched every movie in release order. People who only watch Your Name have no idea how tense the final minutes were.
oh wow, emme it has really been a long time since you watched something i've also watched so that i can actually tune in and it's right into one of my absolute all time favorites!!
It is amazing how many ways this film can mess with your heart. You're constantly wondering what tone it's taking. is it a quirky and lighthearted slice of life? Is it a tragic love story? Is it going to have a bittersweet ending? I don't think there have been many movies lately that really play with that feeling and do something unexpected like giving us that happy ending.
This reaction was so cute, loved it. I love this movie since i first watched on 2018. Last year i got a tattoo whi the exacly scene from 55:20 and my tatto artist, who is a anime fan (and specialized on anime tattoos) asked me about, and i said to her "i can't tell you, but its so powerful that you will cry whem you understand. I said her i couldn't explain anything about the movie because could hurt her experience and this is a movie have the compromisse of never spoil in my life. 3 weeks later she posts a story crying like a river about this movie. I actually recomended to all my women friends, and they all called me later crying and thanking for the recomendation. You honestly don't know a single person who don't loved this movie and honestly, if someone don't like it, to me is a red flag😂 If you liked, try Weathering With You, is from the same director, Makoto Shinkai. We as fans have this running gag that Makoto Shinkai had one long-distance relationship in some point of his life and never stoped thinking about it ever since because all his movies are about distance in some degree. I know ppl will recomend you some of the famous goodies and they're all right, but heres a out of box one "The Girl Who Can Leap Through Time". Great movie, but not as known. I saw you have reactions of Firefly and One Piece, to of my all time favorite shows, so of course i subscribed to the channel. Hope you're doing fine ^^
Reflections on the Comet Named "Tiamat" in Your Name. The Connection Between Tiamat and Your Name. The recurring theme of “kataware” (片割れ, or “fragment”) and the intertwining of Taki and Mitsuha’s lives, culminating in their eventual union in Your Name., resonates deeply with the symbolism of Tiamat. I believe the choice of "Tiamat" as the comet’s name may have been a deliberate decision to align with these themes. **Similarities Between the Myth of Tiamat and Your Name. 1. Division and Reunion In the Tiamat myth, the goddess is split in two by Marduk. Her upper half forms the heavens, and her lower half becomes the earth, creating the cosmos. This division symbolizes the birth of a new order from chaos. In Your Name., Taki and Mitsuha start as separate, fragmented beings ("kataware")-physically and temporally divided. As the story progresses, they search for each other, ultimately reuniting and completing one another. This echoes the theme of "division leading to unity." 2. The Metaphor of "Fragments" Just as Tiamat's divided body becomes the fundamental elements of the universe, in Your Name., Taki and Mitsuha are each incomplete without the other. Their "fragmented" existence finds meaning and balance through their reunion. 3. The Relationship Between Nature and Humanity In the Tiamat myth, natural forces like the sea and chaos are personified and ultimately brought under control by the gods to create the structured cosmos. In Your Name., the natural force of the comet Tiamat becomes a central element of the narrative, shaping the fates of Taki and Mitsuha. The comet’s destructive power (akin to Tiamat’s rage) also brings about connection and renewal (mirroring Tiamat’s role in creation). 4. The Cycle of Creation and Destruction Tiamat's destruction gives rise to the creation of the universe, demonstrating the cyclical relationship between chaos and order. In Your Name., the comet Tiamat’s devastation sets the stage for Taki and Mitsuha’s fateful connection and the eventual hope for a new beginning. This interplay of destruction leading to creation aligns with the mythological philosophy of Tiamat. The Possible Intent Behind the Name The choice of "Tiamat" for the comet may have been deliberate, aligning with director Makoto Shinkai's recurring theme of "fragmented elements seeking unity." The comet, a celestial force, serves as a metaphor for the division (“kataware”) and eventual reunion of the protagonists. The Tiamat myth’s themes of chaos, division, and creation mirror the narrative structure of Your Name.: from separation and loss comes connection and hope. Both Tiamat and Your Name. deal with how the forces of nature, time, and space interact with human relationships, emphasizing the universal importance of connection. The Deeper Meaning of "Kataware" The repeated use of the term “kataware” reinforces the central message of seeking wholeness and connection, offering multiple layers of interpretation: The Nature of Human Relationships Each individual is incomplete, and relationships with others help us fill what we lack. Cosmic Connectivity Not only are Taki and Mitsuha connected, but so are the comet, time, and the land-they all seek to bridge their fragmentation. Hope and Renewal The journey to find one’s “fragment” (kataware) is also a journey toward building a new future, overcoming the destruction of the past. Conclusion The name “Tiamat” is more than just a reference to a comet; it symbolizes the overarching themes of Your Name. The story’s exploration of division and reunion, destruction and creation, and the harmony between nature and humanity closely aligns with the Tiamat myth. Given Makoto Shinkai’s meticulous storytelling, it seems likely that the choice of the name “Tiamat” was a calculated decision, tying the comet to the profound themes of fragmentation and unity that define the film.
Taki did not remember Mistuha coming to Tokyo because for him the body switch happened 3 years after Mitsuha went to Tokyo. There is a 3 Year time shift for both of em.
Now go and watch "5cm per second". Its the same producer and those movies are the different sides of the same coin. Its not a well knows thing but these two movies have to be watched back to back or as soon as possible when one of them is still fresh on your mind.

please watch "weathering with you" as it is also set up in the same universe as your name and with same director(Makoto Shinkai). And you'll also get some special cameos on that movie. After that you should watch "a silent voice", "I want to eat your pancreas", "suzume(makoto shinkai's most recent movie)" , these all are really great movies and worth watching every second, so give it a shot. Also this is my first time watching your reaction and I really liked it. Looking forward to your next reactions.

I LOVE this movie and learned a new detail very recently that makes the "Let's write our names on our hands" scene even better. I remember being heart-wrenched when Mitsuha disappears before she's able to finish her name....and like, crying when she sees that Taki wrote "I love you". Well, apparently, according to a comment I read, if you were to write Mitsuha's name in the japanese characters, the first stroke that she was able to write on Taki's hand is incorrect. You wouldn't start with that stroke to write her name....however, it is the first stroke when writing "I love you". I haven't fact checked this, but it's possible that Mitsuha had the exact same idea and just ran out of time to write it.
I realized that the only weakness/weirdest thing is that why didn't Mitsuha look at her palm right away after they separated because of the end of the Kataware-doki? I'm sure that the first thing she would do after back in her body would be wanting to find out what Taki wrote on her palm instead of running off to save the town..so for me, that's the only big miss in this movie..still one if not the best of anime films of all time, though!
😢 I'm a grown ass man and no matter how many times I watch this movie, I cry when she opens her hand and sees the words "I love you."

Classroom chalkboard reads "月9日5 (木)" (meaning "September 5 (Thursday)")
*Chapter 8*
Taki's phone is an Apple iPhone 7 (which was release in Japan September 2016)
*Chapter 9*
After work, Mitsuha checks Taki's phone diary. Among the dates seen are:
- Thursday, September 1st
- Tuesday, August 30th
- Thursday, August 25th
- Wednesday, August 17th
- Sunday, August 14th
- Monday, August 8th
- Wednesday, August 3rd
All of these correspond to the year 2016.
*Chapter 11*
When Taki and Mitsuha finally figure out that they've been switching bodies, they scroll through their phones' calendars. Both of them have an entry for September 9th and 12th, but they are different days of the week.
*Chapter 13*
Mitsuha (Taki) comes out for breakfast in her school uniform, which confuses Yotsuha, indicating it's the weekend. Because we know Taki is in Mitsuha's body on odd-numbered days this month, and it is later than September 12th, it must be Sunday the 15th, Saturday the 21st, or Sunday the 29th.
*Chapter 14*
After Taki's date with Okudera, he pulls out his phone to see a note from Mitsuha telling him that Comet Tiamat should be visible at the end of their date. His phone shows a date of Sunday, October 2nd (meaning Chapter 13 was likely on Sunday the 29th). This confuses Taki (since the comet was three years ago to him), so he tries calling her.
*Chapter 15*
Mitsuha and friends go out at night to see the comet.
It hits SO much harder.
this is the movie that i put on if I need to cry. one of my absolute favorites
Glad to see there are other guys out there who love to watch over movies just to cry a lot, I feel less alone
@@ProductionSktT We're human too!
I like how the strategy to save the town was literally domestic terrorism and Tessie was on board immediately lol
@@Manish_sahu1 I think her grandmother being there, also help support Mitsuha story
I love this movie! The time-bending aspect of the story is so intriguing
Wonderful beautiful movie and reaction. It's a modern classic. Went to the theater to support it and went in blind and the time twist was great. Did not see that coming. It's a favorite. Happy you got to experience it.
My all time favorite movie. Love watching reactions to it. Glad you enjoyed it. This was a fun, great reaction!
awesome... my fave anime, and a great channel to watch it on, thank you Emme!!
You gotta watch Your Lie In April. It's a short anime (1 season 22 episodes) but so good.
First time viewer here. Loved your reaction. You seem to be such a nice and sweet person. Keep on with the amazing job!
When you realise that she was writing "I love you" as well.
Not necessarily.
@@jm329 well the horizontal line she draws isn't used in the word "mitsuha" but it is used in "aishiteru" or "I love you" and it was confirmed by the director makoto shinkai
Edit: *isn't used in the beginning of the word
@@indrajeetroy6464 Where did he confirm it? It is used in the Kanji.
@@jm329 She usually writes her own name in hiragana "みつは" (15:48). Maybe because in kanji ”三葉” is too tough to write down immediately.
@@indigotom8969 Until it is confirmed, we don’t know. It’s just annoying when people claim a theory as a fact, but never can back it up.
When I was a student, I many times went through the steps that they met each other finally.
So, the end of this movie is more touching to me.
An awesome film. I recommend all the Makoto Shinkai films for their ability to find such stories inside complicated emotions and truths.
LADIES AND GENTLEMEN THE BEAUTIFUL MASTERPIECE THAT IS....YOUR NAME. 😂🤣😅🥲❤🎉🇯🇵
Lovely reaction to a stunningly lovely film.
My fan theory is that the God of Itomori bent the rules of time and space to rescue its people from their original fate.
Extra Info - They are married ( Confirmed By Author)
Everyone is commenting popular movies but I will suggest you three great underrated movies
1. Josee, the Tiger and the Fish
2. The Tunnel to Summer, the Exit of Goodbye
3. Hello World
Why not Grave of the Fireflies ... 👹
‼️Everyone locates the series faster with their original names‼️ I don't know why they have the bad habit of translating everything, seriously what is the need to do that 😒
@@Misaki_Mei504 It’s easier for English speakers to use the English names, especially when still new to Japanese.
The Tunnel to Summer, the Exit of Goodbye is insanely good. As good as Your Name. Josee, the Tiger and the Fish was good but I don't like tsundere
30:26 Notice how in the dead book the 2 columns next to Mitsuha say ages 9 and 82, most likely her sister and grandma
5 centimeters per second was the first I saw and both that and your name are just so incredible.
They should rename that movie to "Crying with goosebumps" 😂 love it so much, it blew me away on my first watch. Adorable reaction. 😇
45:03 if you are aware the braided cord travel back in time
oh wow, emme it has really been a long time since you watched something i've also watched so that i can actually tune in
and it's right into one of my absolute all time favorites!!
The future appearances of the two appear in Makoto Shinkai's movie "Weathering With You," so please take a look!
This movie is so good ...
This guy, Makoto Shinkai, who made these movies "your name" and "weathering with you" is referred to as the new Miyazaki. You can see why.
my comfort movie
54:09
No, its because he doesnt remember them anymore. He even forgot Mitsuhas name after all
It is amazing how many ways this film can mess with your heart.
You honestly don't know a single person who don't loved this movie and honestly, if someone don't like it, to me is a red flag😂
If you liked, try Weathering With You, is from the same director, Makoto Shinkai.
1. Division and Reunion
In the Tiamat myth, the goddess is split in two by Marduk.
This echoes the theme of "division leading to unity."
2. The Metaphor of "Fragments"
Just as Tiamat's divided body becomes the fundamental elements of the universe, in Your Name., Taki and Mitsuha are each incomplete without the other. Their "fragmented" existence finds meaning and balance through their reunion.
3. The Relationship Between Nature and Humanity
In the Tiamat myth, natural forces like the sea and chaos are personified and ultimately brought under control by the gods to create the structured cosmos.
In Your Name., the natural force of the comet Tiamat becomes a central element of the narrative, shaping the fates of Taki and Mitsuha. The comet’s destructive power (akin to Tiamat’s rage) also brings about connection and renewal (mirroring Tiamat’s role in creation).
4. The Cycle of Creation and Destruction
Tiamat's destruction gives rise to the creation of the universe, demonstrating the cyclical relationship between chaos and order.
In Your Name., the comet Tiamat’s devastation sets the stage for Taki and Mitsuha’s fateful connection and the eventual hope for a new beginning. This interplay of destruction leading to creation aligns with the mythological philosophy of Tiamat.
The Possible Intent Behind the Name
The choice of "Tiamat" for the comet may have been deliberate, aligning with director Makoto Shinkai's recurring theme of "fragmented elements seeking unity."
The comet, a celestial force, serves as a metaphor for the division (“kataware”) and eventual reunion of the protagonists.
The Deeper Meaning of "Kataware"
The repeated use of the term “kataware” reinforces the central message of seeking wholeness and connection, offering multiple layers of interpretation:
The Nature of Human Relationships
Each individual is incomplete, and relationships with others help us fill what we lack.
Cosmic Connectivity
Not only are Taki and Mitsuha connected, but so are the comet, time, and the land-they all seek to bridge their fragmentation.
Hope and Renewal
The journey to find one’s “fragment” (kataware) is also a journey toward building a new future, overcoming the destruction of the past.
Conclusion
The name “Tiamat” is more than just a reference to a comet; it symbolizes the overarching themes of Your Name.
37:40 "Just have a party outside of town and invite everyone."
That actually sounds more reasonable compared to a plan that involves a bomb. 😅
OMG I LOVE 5 Centimeters per second. It felt surreal. Agreed that movie doesn't get nearly the hype. Not that I hate Your Name
The reason why " I love you " didn't got erased is because there is a belief in Japan that anything related to love is protected by Moon God ❤
You should 100% watch "weathering with you" as it is set in the same universe of yourname and is also amazing
I feel pain in my chest when he visited her village, that hoping she's there turned out he's late. Back When she visited him he doesn't recognise her, now it's his turn to feel what she felt being ignored by someone you thought you really know very well😢😢.
Takki saw his texts deleting so he knew he couldn't write is name on her hand or it would be erased... so he wrote something even more important❤
You'd be happy to know that Shinkai (the director) confirmed they got married somewhere between the time "Weathering with you" (Shinkai's next movie, both taki and mitsuha have a short cameo) was happening.

This was a cool movie. It's kinda like The Lake House. I love it.
You should Wach "Weathering with You" (2019) is the same director and the same universe and it have a cameo of Taki and Mitsuha, "Suzume" (2022) is the last movie of this director.

This is my joint favourite anime film, alongside Spirited Away.
After watching this movie the next movie should be "Weathering with you".
If you haven’t watched a silent voice I would love to see your reaction to it! ❤
please watch "weathering with you" as it is also set up in the same universe as your name and with same director(Makoto Shinkai).
Thank you very much for your reaction to one of my favourite movies and welcome to my subscription list.

Oh, and beware of the onion chopping ninjas. 😂
did you watch "weathering with you"
I LOVE this movie and learned a new detail very recently that makes the "Let's write our names on our hands" scene even better.
The problem with that is that when he starts to write her name down, he starts with that as well.
I feel sad for those people who didn't discover this anime themselves then got spoiled on media platform.
看完全片後,再回頭看一次片頭曲,會發現畫面全是彩蛋。
Watch "Weathering With You". If you like the two characters in Your Name, you'll be pleasantly surprised.
Watch " a silent voice " :)
I love the English Dub of this movie
Also i can let you know that Mitsuha and Taki will marry. they have a cameo in Makoto Shinkai newest Movie where it is confirmed that they married

That "I love you" scene hits like a truck.
Welcome to isekai my man..
Now that you've seen this, you have to watch A Silent Voice please.
Next plz react to " a silent voice." btw love ur cute reaction 😊
I realized that the only weakness/weirdest thing is that why didn't Mitsuha look at her palm right away after they separated because of the end of the Kataware-doki? I'm sure that the first thing she would do after back in her body would be wanting to find out what Taki wrote on her palm instead of running off to save the town..so for me, that's the only big miss in this movie..still one if not the best of anime films of all time, though!
