I instalty recognized those dwarf birch trees that this is somewhere in far north lapland, because we recently went on a FPV roadtrip there! Amazing trip and beautiful landscapes. We visited skibotn norway too. There's some videos of the trip over our channel if you're interested.
Oh man, I'm starting fpv in a couple of weeks when all my final parts for my Eachine Wizard X220 arrive. I'm kinda nervous/excited about this because I've only ever flown toy level drones and practiced in simulators for about a year and am finally getting a taste of the big boys. People like you are a little bit of hope in my heart that I might be able to fully immerse myself in this epic sport. Great flying man, real good progression.
omg fantastic edit!!!! Loved that you left the titles up the whole time, made it easy to skip back and look at cc3d vs naze32 etc without having to find the exact title clip in between periods. DAT triblade difference tho!! ...that last day before the long winter as the song faded out to the beautiful sunset was the day my grandpa passed, and the day that I got a replacement blackout mini h arm in the mail, fixed the quad, and flew with the goggles and acro for the first time. I'd been trying horizon and some LOS for few weeks before that but ever since that day I've hit straight acro fpv hard. I did one for my first year in FPV which is what lead me to yours. It's from Jan17-Dec17 cuz that's when I got the GoPro but I'd actually been flying right at a year and a half. SWEET tramp bounce!! Def earned a sub from this video bro! Cheers :)
Just what i needed to watch after burning an esc while flying today😕, you are what i call a pro pilot / veteran that just keeps us noobs fixing and flying again with your inspiration👍 Brilliant video man, love it.
Oh wow! Its been a long time since I saw a batbone tricopter. Must be from flite test. And David's tricopter. Great video. Yeah, this hobby is not cheap but with patience, it's rewarding.
Inspirational man. Been flying since 2009, started with Heli's, then planes, quads, more planes, tri-copter, LOS FPV and just built my first Mini-Quad. Loving it! Great video.
Great video. I am at the stage of my first build and having to deal with the 'wobbles', 'vibrations' and 'oscillations' . You have inspired me to keep hacking away.
What a breathtaking place to fly.. Nice flying skills. I'm trying to fly fpv as well but I live in London so it's really hard to find a place to fly without people complaining or trying to steal my quad
duuude you live at the most epic location ever :D If Norway just wasn't so darn expensive ;) Really cool progress video shows again that we all started small and if you dont give up you'll get it at some point ;) I gotta get one of dem progress video upped as well ;)
great video, I'm brand-new to this. first quad arrived a few weeks ago.. been biting my hand off to fly but wouldn't until i got some sim time in :) first FPV flight today and i didn't crash... winner winner :) I went with eachine wizard x220s after watching UAVfutres videos.... i know they said 220 but i liked the better stuff with the 220s and when i crash i will prob replace the frame :) thx for the inspiration ;)
Love the compilation! Be great viewing while I was eating mine spinach raviolis here at Rocco's. Just tell me one thing, every tricopter I've ever seen has counter-rotating props on the bottom as it's an odd number. How does it actually not start spinning on its own in One Direction?
nice place you live in, can totally see the progression in confidence, been flying and building myself mini quads for almost a year now, ;) what flightcontroller firmware are you running?
That martian looks quite a bit more docile compared to the qavr. is it the rates, because the motors etc look identical. Nice video and great progress!
TH3_ZV4D3K I used FPV Freerider. A lot of people use DRL Stimulator which is populate but they physics are off and there's FPV Event among others. oscarliang.com/free-quadcopter-simulator-drone-multirotor-trainer/
I am also fairly new to the hobby. Completed my first five fpv packs today. But had LoS experience before. First used Freerider but was not happy with the physics. Liftoff is better for me, but also costs more.
@@isak25 omg, I was already starting to get upset that everything was over, I lost such a cool author with cool content...thank you, I'm looking forward to more new videos))
If I were you I would never use angle mode again. I've never used it myself and I don't think that it will help you learning to fly acro, so even if it means you are going to crash more, try to ditch it. Mabye get a sim
Recently got an arris c250 v2 , have been learning to fly on angle mode ( self level ) which is fun to get used to flying but have now started flying on acro, acro is much more fun for doing flips etc , only thing is now that ive learnt to fly on angle and need to remember to not hold the forwards and side ways sticks down because you will keep rotating instead of being at a fixed angle
That was really cool, you been flying longer than most, unfortunately I was taking a break from rc when fpv was getting started so I'm late to the party, but I'm here now. I posted the 1st time, and would be honored if you would have a look, sub if you like. Either way I subbed, liked, and I whacked dat little bell.
When it comes to me. I think it took me 2 1/2 months to get close to your 3 years experience. maybe less because I have more access to proximity flying and Freestyle simulator. I was pretty much force to fly those environment and crash alot. Just by seeing your video... you're flying in open field alot. I guess it depends where you live at. In other words, your skill set varies on the location. Interesting... I hope you don't see it in the wrong way. I'm just saying. Good work.
TheDarkstar826 yep I also feel like I learned slowly. This is mostly because I've never used a simulator and I can't fly anything from October to April because it is too dark (the sun never rises for two months)
Really? From October to April? That's crazy. You might as well get the sims running on your PC during that time. Also, try to find places that has alot proximity flying. Less flying above the trees and more close call. I swear... Your skills will improve. When it comes to sims... Try Fpv Freerider, Freerider Recharger and DRL for freestyle. The last one is FPV Event. This one is more for racing. This sim is super close to real life physic. Try the trail version before you buy it. Hopefully, you got a good computer.
TheDarkstar826 yep i have plans to get a sim going. The sun is under the horizon for two months, but even when it starts to come over there is only a couple of hours of light so not enough to fly. It is also to cold to fly more then one pack (I can use gloves but it messes with my flying)
Where do you live? Yes, get the sims going and bring your drone inside your car when you get out of work. I only have 3 hrs of daylight once I get out from work at 4:30pm. Plus, I have make sure my wife let me outside.lol Anyways, where ever you live. I will fly from my car. No Joke. lol
isaks I am speaking strictly as a racer. Yes if you build and sell you can make a few bucks but really not much when factoring in time. I've made some money racing but no where near what I have put into it.
this location is amazing
UAVfutures yeah i know. Northern norway is the best :)
Holy fuck at first I was like ....meh... and then i saw the fjords

I just burned a 66$ esc... then my lips caught on fire. It was the maiden flight of a 500$. I lost everything but some of the frame.

Right on man. That's some dedication. I'm into this about 6 months now and I am super addicted. See ya in the sky.
I am so glad you took the time to collate and then combine your progress over the years. Really good to see

Great flying! Love the soundtrack
This video really inspires me to get flying. I need the stick time. thanks for sharing.
hope you've gotten some by now!
Nice video man. It's crazy how much the tech has improved in the last few years. I sometimes still wish i didn't dismantle my ZMR250 for parts haha
Wow cool to see your progression man! keep it up!

How did you get your drone so smooth to fly? tuning a good pid?
Great video 👍 if only I didn't have a headache and watching didn't hurt my eyes (totally worth it though)

sadigov I think it was just how I flew. They feel pretty much the same except that the Martian is heavier but way more durable
Good job :)
