      I could tell you a dozen things wrong with this thing the body or so called casey its builded to small they need to widen the body the blades are too close to the rider. they Need to widen roadders by 40%in the back roaders front roaders about 30% smaller then the back roadders with bigwill like seating for passengers and a sleek body this looks primitive you could tell this was nobody's imagination looks more like they took an old rocking chair and wielded it to a home made giant drone contraption

      🔴 What Is Islam?
      🔴 Islam is not just another religion.
      🔵 It is the same message preached by Moses, Jesus and Abraham.
      🔴 Islam literally means ‘submission to God’ and it teaches us to have a direct relationship with God.
      🔵 It reminds us that since God created us, no one should be worshipped except God alone.
      🔴 It also teaches that God is nothing like a human being or like anything that we can imagine.
      🌍 The concept of God is summarized in the Quran as:
      📖 { “Say, He is God, the One. God, the Absolute. He does not give birth, nor was He born, and there is nothing like Him.”} (Quran 112:1-4) 📚
      🔴 Becoming a Muslim is not turning your back to Jesus.
      🔵 Rather it’s going back to the original teachings of Jesus and obeying him.

    • @flytaerospace4462
      @flytaerospace4462  7 років тому +7

      I actually built a prototype with the props above the pilot and counter-intuitively, it's less stable (I had the same hypothesis as you). Turns out that it creates a pendulum effect on the vehicle which makes it harder to stabilize vs having the center of mass as close to the thrust plane as possible. But you're right that it provides a much less obstructed view to have them above.

    • @richardf911
      @richardf911 7 років тому +2

      It's a tuning problem. Weight in the middle is more maneuverable. But less stable. The pendulum effect (props overhead) adds stability and safety. But reduces responsiveness somewhat.
      Raising the props will make take-offs and landings smoother (less ground effect) and a little less dusty. :-)

      Sky Fly You are an idiot. Even on a prototype safety should take priority, maybe especially on a prototype since it is an unknown variable. One little miscue and arms or legs are in the blades and he might never make it too the "update". What is the old saying? An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure.

    • @manfredadams3252
      @manfredadams3252 7 років тому +1

      There are not covers on the blades for protection if that's what you are thinking.. The housings turn it into what's called a "ducted fan" increasing the thrust.

    • @marcasdude
      @marcasdude 7 років тому +3

      manfred adams...Maybe you didn't watch the video, there are no housings around the blades, it's not a ducted fan design although that would be a good addition. Ducts with a little chicken wire or something nonrestrictive to the airflow over the top would go a long ways toward safety and efficiency.

    CG looks like it would be pretty high. Why not sit below the props above? It would provide a lower CG, PLUS you'd be out of the line of fire..OF THOSE PROPS! :-) Great job though. Looks like it would be a hoot to ride.

    • @flytaerospace4462
      @flytaerospace4462  7 років тому +7

      Surprisingly the CG is pretty much in the center of the propellers, the batteries are below the lower level of props and the person is sitting between them, so it balances surprisingly well!
      A past prototype had the props above, but it actually creates several control problems because it forms an unstable pendulum and surprisingly (and counter-intuitively) makes control more difficult.

    • @richardf911
      @richardf911 7 років тому +2

      Only unstable because the controller isn't tuned for that configuration.
      What flight controller are you using?
      The 'pendulum' set up should have a much larger sweet spot. But it won't work too well with average tuning.

    Every time I build a new hot rod project, I think to myself “ok, I need to take it easy on the new engine to break it in”... which is then followed by mashing the throttle and burning the tires off at 6000 rpm.... I believe I may lack the restraint to “test” something that can fall from the sky. As soon as it lifted off I’d be like “Punch it” and I’d likely shoot off into space. 🤣

      Smart design, even for a prototype, always takes basic safety into consideration. You can still have a valid insight on something even though you are not an expert on something. It is definitely a valid insight to say that this prototype is insanely unsafe and using the excuse that "You don't know how hard designing is!" Isn't good enough to excuse how dangerous that machine is without cowlings. More accurately, deadly. His legs are max 12 inches from the props. More like 6-7 by my eye. Just imagine how quickly things go wrong if you bump the ground too hard as he nearly does many times....you don't have to be an expert to understand this. Advancing aerospace technology is dangerous enough without needless risks....
